The reason being it's well known we don't like dealing with agents & this Raiola chap seems to be the biggest leech/parasite of the lot.  It will make negotiations re personal terms even more difficult, could be a problem if his wage demands are suddenly unreasonable.

Provided the Anita deal goes through, priority for me would be another striker.  I'd have really liked De Jong.

Not convinced at all about this move, both in terms of I think we have higher priority positions we need to fill and the player himself. I'd rather get Van der Wiel from Ajax.

I still don't think he quite gets it even now, during his time at us it was always 'i score goals if given the chance' and 'wherever i am i score goals' and that is all that mattered to him, but others didn't share the same view.
