Was there this much clamoring for Lampard to get the Chelsea job before he did? Or did he move so quickly into the role that it caught everyone by surprise? Can’t recall. Ain’t nobody out here foaming at the mouth for Vieira to get the Arsenal job.

Villa will never be good enough. No matter what he accomplishes there, it’ll always come back to “…but what about Liverpool…” Media is completely obsessed with it and it’s kinda pathetic. It’s also unfair to Villa fans and to Gerrard himself, who as far as I can tell hasn’t put a wrong foot forward throughout this process.

Most of your transfer business should be done over the summer imo; you should go into the new season with the squad you want in place. Use the January window for adding bargains, filling injury gaps, and players who can get you over the top. Obviously the current state of our squad necessitates a significant infusion of talent in January.

I like it, but it’s way too busy from a design and marketing standpoint. Simplicity is king. Our current badge is fine, though I think it could use updating. I voted for the circular castle keep one…give that one a modern tweak and it’s a winner.
