The CMNT has potential to be quite good. Would be a real threat in CONCACAF if they had the likes of De Guzman and Hoilett. Still, they're my darkhorse pick for the WC this next cycle. Some good young players coming up through the system too.

This is a much-needed win for the USMNT, friendly or not. Going into Mexico and getting a win is a big morale boost. Brek looked good for the first time all year. Howard is a beast. I'm a big fan of Terrence Boyd, nifty little heel flick in the box to set up the goal. I think he's going to light it up for Rapid Vienna this year and force a move to a bigger club. He and Altidore are scoring goals for their clubs right now, hopefully that'll start translating to goals for the NT.

Looks like they're gonna play him in central midfield though. That's where he originally started but for the sake of the national team, I wish they'd keep him at CB.

Fullback too, Evra has been on the slide for about 2 years and Neville hasn't been replaced tbh. Have to think Baines would've been a smarter buy than RVP for them.

Very much a traditional LM (not winger) in a 4-4-2. A "CM" in our 4-3-3. Would have fit well with the England squad at Euro tbh.

Doubt it. As well as Galaxy not really wanting to sell, it's a lot of money for a fairly old player. More MLS that dictate the sale than Galaxy isn't it? Frankly, I don't know. All I know is the deal seems unlikely before you even consider age, price and where he'd fit in. Honestly don't think he'd cost all that much, especially considering his past with Everton. Certainly wouldn't take the whole Rodwell fee. Everton and MLS have an interesting relationship, I think a deal could be worked out.
