I’m wondering where that was taken?

And if it’s legitimate him. Or is it an old photo with his head stuck on?

    Looks like Gateshead Stadium.

  2. Generally speaking, women presenters are amongst the best in the business. Women pundits are on the whole below average (specifically Leanne Sanderson and Sue Smith). Women commentators in football are on the whole, dreadful.

    Surprised I need to.

First post after yours, by El Prontonise,  explains my feelings on the subject.

0.5% of the population are problem gamblers. Why are people so keen on punishing the other 99.5%? Why the gambling commission/every man and their dog who don't know what they're talking about/government are wanting harsh measures in the industry is beyond me.

The whole industry is fucked and all because of decisions made by people without a clue. The amount of AML and KYC checks happening right now is beyond anything we've ever seen. We're a nanny state being told how we can spend our own hard earned money.

This agenda of stopping gambling advertising is just another kick in the balls. Unfortunately, the games gone and the majority of professional gamblers, and even those who do it for entertainment, can no longer get a bet on anywhere. I don't really see what horse racing is going to do: no bets = no levy = no prize money.

What do we do next? Do we introduce weekly/monthly/yearly alcohol limits because a % of the population misuse alcohol ? (around 6%-10% - way higher than problem gamblers).

The attacks on all things gambling has to stop but I fear it's already too late. Remember, gambling is NOT a bad thing. It's a fantastic source of entertainment for the overwhelming majority despite the negative connotations.

  4. Just a quick one RE: Mr Nice Guy. It's a load of tripe. Heard from the horses mouth recently that he is a lot different away from the cameras, and this "PE teacher" thing couldn't be further away from reality.

  5. Just seen his lasses instagram story and on the last clip where she's cooking mushrooms, you can hear Bruno in the background singing along to Hey Jude when watching what sounds like a game replay

might sound harsh, but I fucking hate him (as a footballer, not as a person) and can't wait until he gets peddled  him being our benchmark is a big reason Matt Targett looked like prime Cafu on his debut.

He's never, ever been good enough. people argue he's a good defender, and does the fundamentals well, but he's shit scared of the ball, has zero technique and offers no attacking threat whatsoever. because he's so limited he gets held to the lowest possible standard, the opposite of someone like ASM, basically. not to mention he's a perma crock.

thanks for everything Paul, but down to the Champo you go son. Bruce will probably sign him. which says everything you need to know.

    100% this

  7. Imagine going from Ashleys NUFC a few month back, to turning your nose up at signing Trippier. Some people just don't deserve what is about to happen to this club in the next decade.

  8. He's from the Leam I think. Used to play for Leam Rangers

Knickname is “Bona” Not sure why.

Only knew he was from Leam as my Dad told me he used to play football with my uncle. No idea on anything else

He's from Whitehills estate so not quite from the Leam.

  9. Absolute wanker.

I'll be going absolutely fucking nowhere near a love-in for this no-mark who should be nowhere near the club. As complicit as the rest of them. Just happens to be competent.

I'm biased because I knew his dad but this talk is absolutely tripe. He's not your typical British managers lunch club coach. "Should be nowhere near the club" - he has the best CV for a coach that we've had for many years. I hope he gets the main job soon.

  10. Martin Peterson referees the early kick off in Germany tonight, M'Gladbach v Werder. 39 yellows and 6 reds in just 8 showings so far this year.

Not quite sure how to play it but I'll definitely have a stab on a red card at 9/2, he's got 5 reds in his last 3 appearances.

  11. I think there'll be cards tonight. Our 4-4-2 should ensure the game is stretched, especially in midfield. I'm debating max betting Hayden who is useful for a card anyway. Pretty sure it'll be a physical game with Carroll putting himself about.

David Coote has 36 yellows and 2 red in 9 PL games this season also.

  12. Skybet giving free £10 bet just need to opt in

Aye I got an email for this today also for £10. Told my old man about it and he only got £5 but doesn't bet much.

I've also been allowing a big gambler to use my Betfair account for the last 6 weeks or so as he is banned and can't get bets on with high street bookies. He told me I can have the free bets etc if they give any. Got an email earlier saying January rewards will be a £250 free exchange bet and a free £200 acca bet if the account has 20 settled exchange bets. So from February 1st I'll be looking to maximise some free money hopefully.
