Thought they were pretty unlucky. They were well on top, then Villarreal scored a superb set piece totally against the run of play. Be interesting to see if he looks at English players in the window.

People who have no knowledge of anything to do with Nice Football Club claim there's no way Madrid have looked at HBA. Manager of Nice Football Club claims Madrid have looked at HBA. Aye sbnufc, BeloEmre - you're right Don't know what I was thinking about believing the bloke who manages Hatem Ben Arfa.

dat ambition to be the 2nd best. That's fucking brilliant

His record at Wales, Fulham, Blackburn and now Stoke are really impressive. Doesn't get the credit he deserves Hughes. Completely agree. He was never the right fit for Man City, and no idea what happened with QPR, but I think he's a good manager who plays good football. I can't stand the way Hughes goes on but in Arnautovic, Bojan & Shaqiri, he's formed a great front 3.

Probably, aye. Don't know why I thought we'd be so lucky to lock him down on a Mike Ashley 5 year special for ultimate sell on value.
-
He's going to renew his contract would be my first guess. But aye, this PR bollocks is too staged. They've even put an error in to make it look authentic (or Lee Ryder wrote it).

Darts on laptop, football on tele - perfect.

I don't want to make a habit of agreeing with Ron but I totally agree with the above. McClaren's not a bad person, he's just utterly useless.

I've avoided because I like the old Us of A and don't want to change that. Where you been recently? Throwing darts at a cardboard cut out of Alan Pardew? I wish I had been throwing ones at him in real life

1000's didn't renew their season tickets. That's the reason they don't do the members only sales for the big games anymore because they know there's no longer enough fans to take up the seats. Unfortunately, a lot of people renewed on the back of that interview. It's all rather sad, but until everyone jacks in then Ashley is going nowhere. Personally, I'm at the point of no return. There's nothing there anymore and I hope he does change the badge, as rumoured by Stifler (), as it will signal the end.

It was the original 'physical' comment that annoys me most - Kante has proved that you don't need to be Matic height to play centre midfield in the Premier League.

I'd only keep 5/6 players out of this squad and Anita would definitely be one of them. One of the very few who have it in them to play a good standard of passing football.

What the f*** is this s***? You sound like the retarded 80 year old blokes who drink in the club on a Sunday afternoon - absolutely f***ing clueless. The type who don't actually watch games to make an opinion for themselves, you're the type who allows journalists and other retarded owld c***s to form your opinion. NEWSFLASH: Nobody wants to see Norman Hunter in modern day football! And what the f*** is this s***? Just so happens he came from Ajax and not Sunderland which seems to save him getting any stick from some people. He's been fine this season. And you are calling other people clueless? We have been completely overrun in the middle of the park all season, and that is down to our two non entities in midfield. If you think that is playing fine then you are clearly watching something else mate. Put Anita alongside a competent centre midfielder and it can work. It's the ginger cunt I have the problem with.

He'd be fine for us given a capable partner in midfield. Definitely a contender for our best player this season - granted, that doesn't take much.

He just 'got' the whole club and the area. He really bought into what the club was about back then. Such a shame, 47 is no age at all. RIP Pav.

When we sold Cabaye, we where 6th in the league. 8th. But don't let that stop you rewriting history, again. It's hardly rewriting history. We where in a good league position when he left. I think that Christmas we where slightly higher perhaps 5/6th. Would you like to confirm that for me? We won something like 3 games after he left and still managed to finish 10th which shows how strong we performed in that first half. None I have no interest in debating Pardew. He's a cunt, always will be and I hope he dies. Can you please stop writing where instead of were? It's annoying and out of character for an erudite member of the forum like yourself.

Just thought you'd like to know so that you're not wrong again in future. It's painful to see such an erudite member of the forum get something wrong.

The moment the man who had inflicted so much misery on others finally felt it himself. ...And we're now playing beautiful majestic football of course We are now a Ford Fiesta and we drive like one. Under Pardew we were a Mercedes that drove like a Cortina. So the team that we added 3 first team players is a Fiesta but the original was a Mercedes? LOL Was obviously on about the team that contained Cabaye, HBA et al. But carry on. The 17th season was woeful but even then there's a few valid reasons that contributed to the slide (Europa, lack of investment in Aug then half a new team from France in January). But the next season until Cabaye was sold the team got good points on the board. Last season I think he over achieved with the squad until he left. Cisse somehow found his shooting boots and pretty much every goal Perez scored earned us some points. I was sure he would relegate us with that squad. Newcastle United have never finished 17th in the Premier League.

One of his poorer games for us yesterday. It looks almost impossible to play that number 10 role when the ginger cunt in midfield doesn't pass the ball 'between the lines'. Still, his movement off the ball was decent despite his quality on the ball being poor by his standards. Not concerned as this bloke has already shown himself to have more talent than most.

Too early to judge. There's a lot of potential in there in my opinion but he needs some decent coaching to progress. Certainly not writing him off just yet.
