Towards the back end of our season finishing 5th I think we won 6 in a row.

It has to be difficult living so far away from his family like. Colo has still gave 100% in my opinion since all this first came out and I just can't help but love the bloke. Shame it's going to end like this but his effort never dropped during his time here and in the period of consolidation from going down to coming back up he was excellent.
-
Aye, £14 on the night though. Expected crowd of around 2,000 so not sure how bad the queues will be for getting in.
-
Looking forward to the game tonight. Me and a few of the lads bought tickets last night while we were pissed, purely because the pies at GIS used to be a dream. Hoping the standards haven't slipped.

I thought they were top notch for some reason, and the normal press stuff seems to reflect positively on our facilities at the training ground. I'm not sure why I thought it like. Enlighten me - what improvements need made? You do know everything, dont you? It's the fact you're actually citing the press' opinion as if it were credible. The same press attempted to put a positive spin on getting dicked 6-0 by Liverpool at home. It was just in my head that they were decent, no idea why. I'm sure a lot of players have said it in the past but I cant really remember.

We spend about £2.5m on the place about 4 years ago i think I honestly though our training facilities were top notch. I seem to remember a massive update not long ago, and when you hear people speak they always talk highly of the facilities. Not sure this should be a priority - day by day it sounds more likely that Ian W works for the club! It failed to meet the Cat A grade for top clubs so we are chucking more money at it. Like you say its all been updated and was supposed to be top notch, wasting money because its badly thought out. But hey its better than signing anyone obviously Ah well, least they'll have nice grass to play on and some nice gym equipment.

Newcastle United vs. Norwich City - Sat 23rd Nov @ 15:00 (not on TV)

I love this thread like. Our fans are often called delusional by everyone else but around 50% of the fans on here reckon we'll not pick up 3 points against Norwich at home after winning our last 2 Me included. -

0-1 They'll come for a draw and take all three points. We'll struggle to break them down as Pardew plays Shola up front on his own and he ends up being outclassed by Michael Turner. Leroy Fer has a good game playing the spoiler role and RVW finally shows his class with a 20 yard curler into the top corner after Norwich break from a NUFC corner at the other end. Everybody becomes depressed -
That should please a few, or is he good again, can't keep up? Bad news for us if he's out for a while, been playing really well. When he plays to his strengths he's good a la Big Mike.

Just watching Ivory Coast game, Tiote on cruches at the end!

Aye, that's what I meant. I was being really kind with 10,20 - it quickly adds up as I've found out myself in the past.
-
There was no point in going for the header it was past him before he could move for it. He wasn't too bad imo, a lot of back passes he received were poor. As for other teams passing better - its unreal. England looked shit scared of the ball. Laughable last night.
-
After winning 600+ over the last weekend... But you bet about 600 a week. All the 10,20 euro bets must add up. You must have a well paid job or a bookie gives you decent credit.

Sorry it's actually the 'Society for Black Lawyers'. The blokes a tool who gets himself on SSN at any little sniff of racism. Peter Herbert he's called - absolutely hate the bloke. He loves to be offended.
-
If that Lawyer for Black People comes on SSN I'm going to have to write a strongly worded letter in to Sky. Total and utter bellend, he'll be tugging himself at this.

Rangers near bankrupt? They're a brand new club
-
On reflection, I'd rather pay £2 and have a decent pay out for doing well then pay 50p like some quizzes and get £7 between 4 players for winning
-
That's the old version of the picture round - apologies. The red of the Cardiff shirt wasn't printing very well so we changed it. Correct one (that was actually used in the quiz) will be up shortly Video round was my handywork. Feel free to come along, we're looking at mid-December for the next one! Just subscribed to the mailing list I'll get a decent team to go over for it, know a few lads who are regular quizzers and would love out like this. EDIT: £2 per person is overpriced for a quiz really (well at least it's the most expensive quiz I've ever seen) but it's something different and is only once a month.
-
Ah right - aye he's never a centre half.
-
Yep, I would have said Cardiff. Quiz goers, did anyone get that one right or did everyone think the same? Also, just so I know the standard - how many points did yous get in coming 3rd?
-
If that's aimed at me then nothing in his performances suggest he's a centre back. He doesn't seem to have the normal attributes to be a full back either which was shown in the second half vs Man City although I think his failings would be less obvious in the lower leagues or in the SPL. Like I said, he didn't stand out in the few times I seen him at conference level. Although Centre Back isn't his position I would have still liked to have seen some knowledge of the game and a bit know how when doing basic defending but it wasn't there for me. I'll be very, very surprised if Dummett ends up a steady PL performer. This is Colos thread though so lets not go too far off topic though.
