  1.           I would love it (Keegan-esque) if these just imploded and became a average team again. Cheered rather loudly at Southamptons equaliser yesterday.
  2. Am I the only one who thinks MYM hardly touched Suarez today? Does placing a hand on a shoulder warrant a foul? I hate modern football where Suarez is in the right for going down to win a penalty when he could easily have stayed on his feet. It probably is a foul by the letter of the law but it's a sad state of affairs
  3. Great for him today but I don't think he's a centre back. He done OK fitting in but his positioning was all over the place and at times he looked lost. Confident on the ball though and does possess a bit of quality as his finish today showed. Will hopefully be a standard Premier League left back most of his career.
  4. Gerrard MOTM That's going to be what I remember from this game in years to come because it is fucking hilarious.

    Alan Pardew

Mike Ashley will apparently 100% never appoint anyone better than Alan Pardew (Despite appointing Kevin Keegan in the past) So clearly the best course of action is to get behind our Alan, eat all the s*** that is fed up to us, reduce our expectations to close to 0, keep going to the matches ( iz wot a suported doez lol) and keep on letting this poison situation continue until irreparable damage is done to the club. Very good. What's the alternative, by the way? Spend your days crying about it on a forum? 1) Stop going to matches, you are enabling. Ah, of course. Forgot about that. Won't make the slightest bit of difference, but at least I'll feel dead good about myself. Would take a considerable number of people to stay away for something to happen but I believe it is possible. At this stage it's a long way off but it could become a reality.
  6. Looks like a fixed match. Kev mentioned it earlier and text me in case it was a mistake and would dissapear but looks like something suspiscious is going on.
  7. When did this happen? Huddersfield away? 1-1 - we wore the Yellow/Yellow kit. I can't remember that game at all. I can only remember playing them recently when we won 4-3 in the League Cup.
  8. I need updates. Ditto. On Racing Post site you can check each horses future entries so this is where I'll be looking every morning. As soon as it shows up when it's entered for a race I'll put it on here. I've had one tip from the same source (about a year ago!) which won after being backed from 8/1 to 11/4 in a low grade race at Ayr. Could make or break my xmas this one
  9. Had a very interesting conversation today with a lad that is doing some work for Richard Fahey. Fahey basically gave him a tip that is apparently bulletproof, although he doesn't know when or where the horse will run. The horse is Xaloc. Has only ran once, 11 month ago, and was only beaten 3 length into 5th place. According to Fahey the horse has improved dramatically and will run at some point in the next two weeks once they find the best race for it to win. They are looking for a maiden race, on the all weather that has a medium sized field. He also said he hopes to get around 10/1 for the horse as the race from last year hasn't really worked out - he told my mate that the price will drop massively during the day as it's going to be a big stable gamble. Take from that what you want but I can never ignore a tip that I've been given with such confidence. I'll be checking it's entries every day until I see the thing running.

    Loïc Remy

That grass off here only just sent them the photo. Lerl.

    Papiss Cissé

I posted this in the 94th minute and he's just scored!

    Papiss Cissé

Just watched him impersonating a footballer for Senegal there. Touched the ball less than 10 times in a 90 minute game a reckon - similar to us though, Senegal created absolutely nothing for him.
  13. Just turned it on and only seen 5 minutes but Senegal look gash.
  14. Main bet of Stevenage came in, a bit dissapointed I never put them to win with BTTS as that was 6/1! Exeter can just do one, straight onto my avoid list although I think I may have under estimated Hartlepools latest revival.
  15. I think they've got a good chance of getting in the play offs now. Mills is a good manager at that level and they do have a strong squad. Would love to see Gateshead in the football league.
  16. If that is real I'd be covering it in every way possible. That's how I found out about it, he is scrambling around trying to cover it. Very tricky without betting huge stakes He'd have to back Torquay double chance and also back both teams not to score.
  17. If that is real I'd be covering it in every way possible.
  18. Worst time of the season to be backing horses I reckon with the flat finishing and the jumps just starting but there's a couple I fancy today. Even though all logic says to leave horse racing for a month - I can't help it. Newmarket 2.05 - Lockwood. Has improved with every run this year and has optimum conditions over a trip that suits today. Get around 9/2 Hexham 3.20 - Ultra Du Chatelet. Over a longer trip today and back over fences where he has his only win to date. Should run well at around 4/1.
  19. Really good mates through school and played on the same team as Christie Elliott who now plays in the SPL for Partick Thistle. Was always a good footballer but ended up playing locally for Jarrow Roofing and Whitley Bay before Partick took him on. Went on holiday 3 year ago with Danny Graham and Gary Madine (now in jail!). Had a few games round the pool and in the football court at the hotel if that counts.

    Alan Pardew

It really isn't a squad that should be finishing 16th in the Premier League though and that's why the blame should lie at the managers door. I don't think any manager would be immune from criticism for the type of season we had last year - even if it was the most likeable bloke in the world.
  21. I seen this and thought the same but on reflection I reckon it looks like a quick throw in and he seems to be appealing that it should be an Aus throw.
  22. Ex Mackem Michael Procter plays in the South Shields League on a Sunday morning. My team played against him the other week - he was woeful compared to what I expected.
  23. Throw AFC Wimbledon in at 8/11 as well, they're at home to Accrington Stanley who are yet to win a game.
