  1. Rock on Ruby for tomorrow and apart from that I'll be following Henderson throughout. Still think Long Run will win the gold cup at a very decent 6/1 ish and his odds on chances, Simonsig and Sprinter Sacre, look unbeatable. Even Une Artiste has a chance in Quevegas race, the mares hurdle. It's ridiculous how well he done at last years festival but I think he can better it this year. Highlight of the week will be Sprinter Sacre on Wednesday, can't wait to watch that one. Have went ew L15 on Puffin Billy/Carlito Brigante/Monkerty Tunkerty/Uncle Junior. Also have a 6 horse bet over the festival with a free bet i had which pays £17k(Quevega, Simonsig & The Fly run today on it) Edit: Stay off my horses Wormy I've got Puffin Billy and Monkerty Tunkerty in my lucky 15 already so you can rule out any chance of winning I'm ridiculously excited now like, off down the local club to watch my horses fail for another year. Rock on ruby/Arabella boy/Monkerty Tunkerty/Puffin Billy - Lucky 15. Rajdhani express - each way Puffin Billy - each way Rock on ruby - Win single Une artiste - Win single "without Quevaga" When I start losing in the early races I'll get straight on Paddy Power app and start backing 4 horses per race in the later races.
  2. Aye, if we're in the draw I'm now at the stage where easier opposition takes preference over a nice place to go to.
  3. He's good at defending his 6 yard box but that's it, basically a younger version of Samba or Nelsen who are also extremely limited and overrated. He should not be anywhere near international level or Europa league level for that matter as was shown by how Ibra f*cked him up. Load of rubbish, tbh. If Samba, Nelson and Shawcross had been NUFC players over the last few years we'd all be laughing. There's a reason none of those players played for a top club in their careers and in Shawcross case never will they are average mid table defenders, nothing more nothing less. Shawcross will end up at a big club eventually. There's no rule that you have to be a good footballer to be a top CB. Take a look at Cisses goal yesterday, then come back and read what you've wrote. Feeling silly yet ... You could say that about any defender tbf. Shawcross is the epitome of an average premier league defender. To suggest he'll be playing for a "big club eventually" is ludicrous given his performances. That, yesterday, was amongst the worst pieces of "defending" I've ever seen.

  5. 5 places in the Supreme Novices?! In a 12 runner race, that is mental. I was going to have a small bet on Puffin Billy at around 12s, I'll definitely have a little go on that now.

  7. Tell me another set of fans who have sang a song to the tune of "da doo ron ron"? Originality at its best.
  8. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cc/Kevin_Hofland_001.jpg Kevin Hofland. As a youngster at PSV he was widely regarded as one of the best up and coming centre halfs in Europe. A potential move to Man Utd never came to fruition and his career took a backwards path from there, although he did spend a few years at Wolfsburg and Feyenoord. Ending up playing in Cyprus with Larnaca before retiring at just 32 after a series of injuries. Another in a long line of players who were "going to be" world class but ended up having average careers.
  9. Cost of the visa has stopped me from going. Just can't comprehend spending that much for a one night stay. IF we get through and then get Zenit/Kazan I'll have to re consider and see if I could manage it as I fancy a trek to Russia.
  10. Still playing believe it or not. In my head he was old when he was at Leverkusen. Probably the gash haircut that himself, Arruabarrena and Pocchetino all sported back in the day. That surprises me aswell, always thought he was getting towards the end of his career when Leverkusen had their good CL run. Thought he was a quality player at the time as I did for a lot of that side, mainly Basturk, Schneider and obviously Ballack.
  11. Diego Placente was a top full back in his Leverkusen days. Pretty sure he played at SJP when Shearer got a hat trick.
  12. Add Jordan Henderson to that list of ridiculous transfer fees I think Henderson has now done full circle aswell. From being ridiculously overrated to now being a little underrated. He's put some decent performances in this season when I've seen them play.
  13. Ah right. Aye, I'm looking at coming back on the Friday really like. Don't know whether it's going to be worth spending all this cash like, might just pray we get through to the quarters.
  14. Happened to me on PP not long ago, I went on that live chat and she said they have to wait 24 hours in case it is re-arranged. I asked for a call back from a manager and the money was in my account within 5 minutes. No call back like, I was going to demand a free bet for my troubles aswell.
  15. Aye, that's my plan. All capital cities are expensive so don't expect it to be much different to London in food and drink prices. Only there for the Thursday and half day Friday so shouldn't be spending ridiculous amounts. Although if the flights have went up by Monday I'll not be bothering with it anymore.
  16. They are definitely gay like.
  17. who's that with? Swiss Air. Going London-Zurich-Moscow on way there and Moscow-Stockholm-London on way back.
  18. According to .com the visa is £77 for a 7 day turnaround or £127 for next day and can be obtained from the consulate in either London or Edinburgh. That's not too bad then. £277 quid plus hotel, it's going to cost little over £300 overall. Just as cheap as any of the others despite the distance.
