Making low ball bids, fake offers, only difference between now and when they were pulling that shit when they first arrived is that Pardew doesn't mind a single bit. I liked the theory someone posted a few days ago that Pardew doesn't mind the lack of quality to a degree, because it would only increase expectations if we had a really strong squad.

He's better than he's being given credit for IMO. The problem for me isn't the signing, as I think he's a good option, it's that Pardew will likely play him the majority of the time.

Ivanovic is quality IMO. Straight swap for Debuchy any day though that obviously wouldn't happen. Solid defensively and poses a threat in the oppositions area at corners. Quality player.
