True, I did actually think that as I wasted my finger skin on the above post. You made a fair point.

He's looked good for France playing more intricate passing football. It's difficult to judge him on that, as he never seems correctly supported for us.
  3. Bit underwhelming for City.
  4. He was a good fit for this club until he came back two summers in a row refusing to train.
  5. Remember how I told you to shut the fuck up from the very start of the run? Everyone around us seemed to be groaning at him and telling him to pass, but I knew something special was going to happen. Seemed to have loads of momentum and adrenaline behind him from the moment he picked the ball up. Shame how it turned out but he's not blameless.
  6. SanToon will be taking a 'trip' there in the fall.
  7. So long as we have quality players like Jack Colback, we'll have all the excitement we'll ever need. Bit of a weird, irrelevant post. Well done..
  8. Not convinced enough in any of our centre mids to allow them that deep role. Think we have to have two centre mids supporting each other, one does what the other isn't etc.
  9. Need to see more of Abeid to judge whether he can play that deep role with Sissoko likely to bomb forward plenty and de Jong supporting a striker. For now, I'd pair Abeid with Colback and allow Sissoko that free role to damage the opposition. I'd slowly reintroduce de Jong and by then we'll have an idea of Abeids capability to play that pivotal role.
  10. Going forward, I'd like to see Colback as squad rotation, but right now he's performing just fine.
  11. Who are you dropping deeper there, de Jong or Sissoko? Sissoko looks ineffective deeper and de Jong is a forward.
  12. I just can't believe the shoot nonsense is still going.
  13. Should be paired with someone better than Tiote. I'd put him in with Abeid with Sissoko sitting further forward.
  14. Think he'll claim he was on the brink of something special here.
  15. there's always that risk he'd just resume work here though.
  16. No worries about it falling through, just want it confirmed so I can have a few in celebration tonight.

Would be a huge loss but along with Perez, he's our stand out star and we can't have one of them for too long.
  18. Stevie died after the Chelsea slip. :-(

Can understand the nerves for his first game, and the derby, but we should really be seeing more from him by now.
  20. Disappointing but inevitable. Highlights how fucking stupid some of the decisions in the summer were.
  21. He should have left before now but respect his reasons for staying this long.
  22. If he comes into the fold, works hard and takes his chances then fair enough, welcome him back with open arms. Not something I lose sleep over, if he's already played his last game for us then okay.
  23. Typical business mind Ashley has probably given him the extra work as manager without any extra salary. "Times are hard colo, the business is struggling, i just need you to do this for a little bit" If he became player/manager, would he technically be the highest paid manager in the world? How much does Ancelotti get a week?
