2 centre backs over 30, with one approaching it. Naturally, we sell the youngest senior centre back.
Scary that we might be falling back on youths, given that two of our senior centre halves have questionable injury records the last few seasons.
Man United will get that £6m back through shirt sales, no problem at all. Problem comes when it's time to either buy him or replace him, and filling that gap in the squad.
He'll carve out a decent career for himself, he just needs that top level experience but we preferred to persist with a want away Coloccini. Maybe it would have been different for M'Biwa here if we had sold Colo.
Stupid. Shame to see him go.
Will probably get the same amount of time on the pitch at Chelsea this season. Going forward though, Chelsea could sign another big name striker next season, whereas Arsenal would be more likely to stick with Remy like they have with Giroud.
Bad move for Remy.
I don't know why he couldn't approach the question like "I understand the link but there was no offer, and I'm fully focused on NUFC and continuing what I've destroyed here."
I don't expect wins under Pardew. Under a decent manager, I'd look at Villa away as a winnable game that I'd expect more than a point from. No disrespect to Brummie.
I think the FA are only sticking with Hodgson because the other options are so limited. He had a decent Euro 2012, he'll do for the 2016 tournament. That'll be their mindset.
To be fair, we could have Guardiola or Mourinho and still underwhelm.
