One of the men who remind me why I love this football club, despite all that is going on with it now. It's a far cry from when Bobby was manager, but there will be a day when the club is ran competitively once again.

Sissoko is definitely seen as a winger at this point. Little other options there plus he's a strong runner with a good assists record. Plus, it saves having to backtrack on the managements stance on Ben Arfa, or God forbid, sign a winger. I think clubs will wait and see Sissoko in the Premiership for another 6-12 months. Can't see anyone coming in with a bid worthwhile.

I was really disappointed at the time. A Geordie number 9, sold to Liverpool. It was gutting. With hindsight, what a deal but the money received has been drip feed back into the club, so what was the point?

I'd rather we spent the money we have on a permanent option, rather than loaning players and finding ourselves in a position where they don't want to sign after a decent season with us, such as Remy.

4-4-2 just seems so archaic now. I think the game has outgrown it as nowadays you need that flexibility between systems at the top level. 4-4-2 is just so rigid and leaves you outnumbered in midfield against most opposition.

I don't know how much of it is people wanting attention, or just genuinely believing in the shit they spout. Either way it's sad to see.
