  1. One of the men who remind me why I love this football club, despite all that is going on with it now. It's a far cry from when Bobby was manager, but there will be a day when the club is ran competitively once again.
  2. Tear in my eye this morning thinking about Sir Bobby. A true great.
  3. Or just honest. I'd rather hear players say that than the bollocks the likes of life-long Everton fan Lallana have come out with.
  4. Sissoko is definitely seen as a winger at this point. Little other options there plus he's a strong runner with a good assists record. Plus, it saves having to backtrack on the managements stance on Ben Arfa, or God forbid, sign a winger. I think clubs will wait and see Sissoko in the Premiership for another 6-12 months. Can't see anyone coming in with a bid worthwhile.
  5. Business concluded until a club bites at our valuations of Santon, Tiote or Krul.
  6. Hatem pictured with Wendell from The Simpsons.

    Remy Cabella

No official numbers yet but wouldn't bet against Cabella 10, what with Ben Arfa nowhere near the first team picture right now.
  8. Lovren is good but I can't fathom why any club would pay £20m for him.

    Loïc Remy

It's strange. Surely he passed a medical type of test in order to be selected for World Cup duty?
  10. He missed most of his first season with us due to injury. Other than that little hiccup.
  11. I was really disappointed at the time. A Geordie number 9, sold to Liverpool. It was gutting. With hindsight, what a deal but the money received has been drip feed back into the club, so what was the point?
  12. I'd rather we spent the money we have on a permanent option, rather than loaning players and finding ourselves in a position where they don't want to sign after a decent season with us, such as Remy.
  13. I like Paddy van Aanholt but I'm not totally sure I'd want him starting games as first choice left back. I suppose Sunderland don't have too many choices like.

    3-5-2

You serious bro? http://nbcprosoccertalk.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/x350110.jpg Well obviously if you pack your team with quality thanks to a blank chequebook, and rely on the opposition letting the title slip, then it's an ok system. How did they do in Europe again?

    3-5-2

4-4-2 just seems so archaic now. I think the game has outgrown it as nowadays you need that flexibility between systems at the top level. 4-4-2 is just so rigid and leaves you outnumbered in midfield against most opposition.
  16. I don't know how much of it is people wanting attention, or just genuinely believing in the shit they spout. Either way it's sad to see.

Most, if not all formations are a complete non starter with Pardew in charge.
  18. Saving all of them characters up for a massive tweet on this subject.
  19. Possible Giggs, but Lescott has gone to WBA. Would have liked him here for a season or two.

    Sunderland

Even if they do manage a sizeable amount of games, neither are that good. Wouldn't want to be in Sunderlands shoes, looking at their squad and the business they've tried to do with Borini does stink of panic. And that's just to try and stand still. Poyet has to be thinking of ditching them.
  21. Chronicle reporting that Jonas has an offer from an unnamed club to train with them, after being told by NUFC he can leave.
