Pardews ruined Gouffran's natural game and dropped HBA because he won't play residual right back, I fear for Cabella unless he has the stamina of a horse. Pardew doesn't seem to realise that if you let your winger be a winger, then the opposition then have to worry about dropping their man in midfield back for cover. But we plan that way from the start of most games. It's frustrating. It's totally brain dead management.

You'd still want your keeper to be in good shape. Elliot is in awful shape for a pro footballer. I can't see a future here for HBA even if he does lose the weight and gets himself in shape. He just doesn't fit in with Pardew's idealistic view of a Premiership team that keeps clean sheets regularly and views goals as something to defend, no matter what time of the match.

Hope he manages to resurrect his career as it has stagnated massively. Good luck to him, he was never in a million years going to be given even the slightest of chances here this season.
