I think with Digne it's just that he probably wants to break into the France squad for the World Cup and from his point of view it will be easier to do that at a safe midtable team than at a relegation threatened team probably with lots of new players that need to bed in. With Coutinho, it's probably the personal link with Gerrard. They also have the money for both of course.

I wouldn't think someone is a bad egg just because they fell out with Rafa mind. Has he had any other issues? VI was very complimentary of his attitude and he left his house to give first aid to victims of the terrorist attack in Barcelona when he was there. Seems a good lad based on that

Don't see many other players being called out to the same extent. It's also not just calling him shit yesterday but many are calling him shit full stop or wanting him dropped. Just get him back on the wing and he'll be fine for the rest of the season anyway.

I think Mitro is a good footballer and would probably do pretty well in a decent team as he does with Serbia and when he does play in the championship but he's been relegated 3 times now as the main striker in bad teams.

Surely PL goals is a far better barometer than Championship goals when buying a player for the PL He also got 27 one season in the championship as others have said
