Doubt Liverpool would let Origi leave on loan, especially with the AFCON and Covid still ongoing
-
Danny Ings has 4 goals and Villa wouldn't sell for £17m. My Cristiano Woodinho comment was just a joke One foreign player in however many years Dyche has been there doesn't give me much confidence that Burnley will pull some superstar foreign striker out of the hat like
-
Who will Burnley get for £17m that is better than Wood? Bare in mind they basically only buy players from Britain
-
If his name was Cristiano Woodinho people would say £17m was a bargain
-
Aye Even before Arsenal, they bought Villa and Everton's best players like Lescott, Barry and Milner
-
£17m isn't even bad for a 1 in 3 striker off a relegation rival. He's probably worth more like £30m to them
-
Wood isn't the long term answer but buying him would probably be a good idea on two counts. Would improve our striker situation and would take an important player off a direct relegation rival. It's like when Man City kept buying Arsenal's best players
-
I'd definitely take a chance on Morelos. His disciplinary record is terrible but I don't think that necessarily follows him elsewhere to such an extent. Scotland is a lot more hate filled in general in football I would say than England and he wouldn't face the same vitriol every week
-
Really odd career Diego Costa had. 4 seasons of being basically the perfect striker in every way, either side of which he did nothing of note
-
You can say he was shit today without overreacting to a player playing out of position who is generally our best player when played in his correct position
-
I'd be absolutely shitting myself if Al-Rumayyan came into a changing room I was in
-
He got 6 goals in Ligue 1 for Nice in 2019/20 and 7 assists for Nice in Ligue 1 in 2017/18 according to whoscored.com which is as reliable a website as you will find. Halfway through this season he has 4 goals and 3 assists which is 7 goal involvements in 19 games, pretty good for a player in a team with one win
-
Yes he has, twice. He's already on 4 goals and 3 assists this season as well after 19 games.
-
Aye, get him back on the wing and he'll continue to be a very good player for us. Do people forget the Man Utd game literally last week?
-
What is his best position? Left wing?
-
Didn't watch today but he literally scored a class goal in our last game Played as a striker as well today?
-
Not sure he'd get on very well in Spain trying to keep the ball. Germany maybe
-
Tbh if he's not going to stay at Napoli I'd prefer if he went somewhere outside Europe. Just wish he waited a few years.
-
Presume they'll take him to the world cup if they qualify but he's probably going to miss out on the following Euros while still youngish. Can't imagine there's much more of a culture shock possible than going from playing in Naples for over 10 years and living there your whole life than going to MLS

That's after tax. Tax on high earners is crazy high in France. Based on the £8.6m he's supposedly on and using a quick tax calculator I've done that's £20m a year or thereabouts in France though I'm not sure how the tax would work if he's on loan. Way too high regardless if what we've heard from Hope is true
-
I'm not sure PSG are as keen on getting rid as Barca were, definitely don't need the cash as much anyway. Even 50% of his wages would be €150-200k I'd say because he moved on a free
-
Aye he'll definitely be on insane wages so that rules it out if what Hope was saying yesterday is true regarding not wanting to destroy the current wage structure at the moment
-
It's irrelevant anyway because they do speak the same language apparently but centre half is all about partnerships and you need to be able to communicate with your partner
-
Ah didn't know Carlos played in France
-
Aye, not sure how good an idea it is to spend loads on 2 centre halves that don't even speak the same language in an emergency
