He’s almost certainly not. He said himself that any deal has to be right for the club and he’s happy to attack the season with the squad we have. The constant negativity is proper draining, my own fault for logging in and reading I suppose

We travelled to Bournemouth probably at our lowest ebb last season absolutely decimated. I think we picked up 2 more injuries in the first half And there’s nothing, absolutely nothing firm to say we are in for Joe Gomez ffs

I think we are being underestimated personally in the media. I don’t think other teams/ managers will do the same though. I think we are still incredibly dangerous this season, a lot will ride on injuries and of course the end of the window. But I’ve got a feeling we can do really well and surprise a lot of teams. I would love to see us do City or Liverpool at home, think we will do one of them

I wouldn’t mind a scenario where we don’t see Botman much at all this season. Let him get properly right, if we’re desperate for him to come back over Christmas something has gone badly wrong.

After watching that Parish interview I feel it may be close, like some have said feels like it’s more structural. feeling more relaxed about the whole thing, maybe it’s because the season has started. Think we will do some business in any event
