  6. Who is going to be investigated anyway? I have no idea. Shes suing Barclays if I remember rightly. So why does she need the added hassle of smoke screening with buying a prem club. 18. No denial from Ryder: Newcastle United for sale: Amanda Staveley and PCP Capital Partners set for bid after talks Newcastle United chiefs have held further talks with PCP Partners and an NDA is expected to be signed soon BY LEE RYDER08:07, 19 OCT 2017 Amanda Staveley is set to sign an non-disclosure agreement with Newcastle United and bid for the club that was put up for public sale on Monday. It is understood that Staveley - as the Chronicle reported on Tuesday - has held constructive talks with the Magpies’ top brass . Although, Newcastle told us yesterday that there was no information available regarding which parties the club have held talks with in recent times. Staveley is spearheading the PCP Capital Partners group from the Middle East who are said to have control of a £28billion worth of funds. Newcastle United Up For Sale Live blog Quick sale Staveley value for NUFC Our writers' verdict Toon tycoon Mike Ashley is not thought to have agreed what the final price would be for Newcastle but is open to the idea of staggered payments for the “right buyer”. It was reported earlier this year that Ashley would accept around £380-£400million for the club. READ MORENewcastle United news LIVE - Amanda Staveley 'launches £300m bid' for NUFC; Money for Benitez in January But claims from the capital yesterday suggested that Staveley valued the club at around £303.4million and there could be a further £150million to plough into investment on the field over the next couple of years. Four other parties have signed NDAs with Newcastle officials and interest has also came in from China and the United States.
  19. I'm trying not to let the hope build up too much, it's hard though. I've still got doubt as to what Ashleys true intentions are but I guess that's what his 10 years of ownership has caused.
  20. And it's probably going to drag on like fuck.

Caulkin! https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/amanda-staveley-set-to-make-quick-bid-for-newcastle-united-7fhrd7mc9?shareToken=e09df677d6503ce094c853681cccc05b PREMIER LEAGUE Amanda Staveley set to make quick bid for Newcastle United George Caulkin, Northern Sports Correspondent October 19 2017, 12:01am, The Times Staveley, second right, attended Newcastle’s game against Liverpool this monthOWEN HUMPHREYS/PA Share Amanda Staveley is expected to launch a bid for Newcastle United, according to sources in the City, after the British businesswoman held a constructive meeting with the club’s hierarchy. Staveley, who runs PCP Capital Partners and is reported to control £28 billion of investments from the Middle East and China, is understood to be pushing for a speedy purchase. She met Lee Charnley, Newcastle’s managing director, and Justin Barnes, a long-time associate of Mike Ashley, the owner, after the recent home match against Liverpool, a club Staveley has previously attempted to buy. More progress was made at another meeting this weekend. The same City sources said that Staveley and Newcastle had signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Neither party was prepared to comment last night. The Financial Times has reported that four groups have agreed NDAs with Newcastle, a precursor to discussions about a price and then the undertaking of due diligence, but Staveley is understood to be the frontrunner. In a statement on Monday, Ashley put the club on the market, although Barnes has been seeking outside investment for much of 2017. The sportswear retailer has twice failed to sell Newcastle, which he has owned for a decade. Ideally, Ashley wishes to cut his ties with the club before the January transfer window, allowing new owners to invest in the team. Tensions arose over the summer after Rafa Benítez, the manager, expressed concern at the slow pace of team strengthening. That timescale would not faze Staveley. Reuters has reported that PCP values Newcastle at £300 million and is prepared to invest another £150 million on players over the next two years. Ashley is believed to be seeking closer to £400 million.
  22. How would the press know if she/her client hadn't already signed a NDA? we keep hearing about 4 being signed but surely they wouldn't know who by.
