Like I said I'd imagine it'd take quite a long time to find a suitable manager who fits the bill to basically build a legacy from zilch, obviously they had Rafa in mind but when that was deemed a no go they had to interview.. I seriously think the timing of the takeover getting the green light came as a suprise to all those involved, the way I look at it is they want Emery and they'll get him. All of us are looking at the reports recently and the kegs are getting soiled in multiple areas, if they have anything about them, they'll get who they want. I suppose time will tell but I have faith they will. Delusional? Aye maybe, but I was called that during the takeover saga. Its on man, let the fun begin.

The press have been saying they've been interviewing multiple manager candidates for the job, which isn't an easy job by any means. They've decided on Emery, I'm being brutally honest here I actually don't see what they've done wrong* *apart from potential leaks that is.

Clearly Caulkin was receiving info from certain 'members' within the consortium, hence when he was burned by the no red flags shite he vowed not to report on it until it was impossible to not too. On another note the disrespect shown to him on here when he was clearly being fed info from those within the consortium, was distasteful to say the least. Him and Hope are gospel as far as I'm concerned.

Not so much on here but a few are expressing anger towards the whole "process" It is what it is really, they've done the interviews and they want Emery. I honestly think they'll get who they want.

Keep the fucking faith man, have we learnt nothing from the past 2 years or so? People having a go at the consortium give you're head a wobble, 3 or so weeks ago we had Bruce & Ashley, now we're the richest club in the world. It takes time to single out a manager for a project so big, they've chosen Emery and I doubt they'll give up on him because of some what seem like minor issues.

Many clubs have done this, although I cant quite remember the saga you've mentioned, but my minds frazzled off nightshift I hope I'm right too, call it faith. It honestly wouldn't suprise me if I wake up later and he's actually on his way here, yesterday morning nothing was mentioned and I woke up at ~5pm to all the Emery talk. That's 6 hours in football. Anything is possible.

In reality the Spanish press has been briefed by Villarreal that he's said he's staying, the meeting they had was successful and such. The same Villarreal that said there'd been no contact from NUFC when obviously there had been, the same Villarreal who have just won their first major trophy in years under the manager currently being linked with NUFC. Have a think about it.
