They consistently finished about 6th actually before he arrived, he's never been able to build a defence and he's obviously had a fair bit of say in transfers so a fair bit of the blame if you do think that squad is mediocre, is his. The whole 'whatabout Pardew' schtick is irrelevant really.

[What makes you think anyone is stressing about it?For me it's a chance to pass on wisdom to those less well informed. Any of the many rage filled comments on here about what the media or whoever think when a pro pardew piece is written or Palace so much as score a goal ? I don't really care just seems daft to get so annoyed by what some idiot on ssn or in a paper says. If you don't really care, why are you even posting on this thread to defend a manager who has a habit of degrading every club he has been involved with in the long term? Eh? I'm in no way defending him. What an odd thing to say.

If we are thinking of 442 with Kane and vardy up top you can see why he'd be considered. We've got a lot of good wide forward options if we play 3 in the middle and 3 up top but not many who would be comfortable in a 442.

I most certainly don't dispute that, but the point I made (somewhat heavy-handedly) is that no-one likes lies spoken about them - especially when the lies spread like Cuntley's waistline. I understand that but the level.of annoyance just seems over the top to me. Maybe it's the apathy and disconnection to the club I feel at the moment but if there was an article in a major newspaper tomorrow about the great work Pardew did at Newcastle and how we must be regretting it now, I'd chuckle and turn the page, Whereas some on here I feel would blow a gasket and it is really just getting annoyed and stressed over something almost meaningless.

Someone accusing you of being a paedophile and saying you wouldn't have gone down with x football manager in charge are two very different things like
-
Not every player that struggles to get a game at a shit level is Ben Arfa
-
If someone genuinely thinks we we wrong to get rid, I would no longer respect their opinion so it wouldn't bother me one iota.
-
And you'll know they are wrong.
-
Ideally yeah, at our level you have to have priorities.
-
Unfortunately he's off at the end of the year apparently. As for Bloodless, I'd rather try and res Bigirimana, him from 2013 offered way more more than this c***. The bigi that apparently struggles to get a game In league one?

I'll take solid defensively over an attacking left back leaking soft goals any day.
-
He wasn't good enough by a long stretch, but I don't actually feel any hatred towards him. Maybe just a symptom of the overall apathy.
-
He'll be fine in the championship. Not dominant, but he'll be fine.
-
Why does anyone care what the media or anyone else think? He was bad for us, nothing that happens from now on will change that. Pointless stressing over how well or badly he's doing.
-
It's 100% his fault, the chances he has missed. Aye, hence the second sentance.
-
It's management's fault we chose to place our eggs in his basket, not his. He hasn't been good enough this season. Not much more needs to be said really.
-
Hope Real smash them to bits.
-
Hahahaha Fraudiola hahahahahaha.....
-
In general play he just wasn't very good though, it's not like his assists that season were some acts of genius either. He just wasn't that good. Not sure why people seem to be so passionate about either slagging or backing him mind

Would love to see the average cost of filling one of these sans swaps!
-
Not that it really matters, but what's the record for a team that survives relegation?
-
How good is Ribery these days? Keep forgetting he exists and the admittedly few times I've watched them these last couple of seasons he hasnt been playing.
-
If I was a Leicester fan I'd be dying for a Real plus two beatable teams. How often do you get a chance to go see your team at the Bernabau?

Delighted for him.
