We’ve been ‘monitoring’ targets in Germany since October, it seems (and elsewhere no doubt, you have to ask whether this scouting malarkey is a justifiable use of club coffers...) https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-checking-out-targets-13799204

Doubt he’s going to move there. It’s a couple of hours from Anfield to the Hawthorns. If since he initially went there, he’s moved out of the city centre to leafy Cheshire, like most of them seem to, it’s probably half of that. No point picking over the finer points of Brummie waterways and architecture!

Do they though, now Ulloa is gone?

feels like a new low, though it probably isn't. Daniel 'mad as a box of frogs' Sturridge chooses WBA over NUFC. Maybe so he can continue to live at home. Though who really knows. What stings is, on hearing the link we were astounded and (some) let ourselves believe this is a huge step towards safety (and all that means re the future). Then this bellend holds up a mirror and gives us a cold light of day reflection of how attractive we look, from the outside. All that 'crawl over broken glass...'/people should want to come here... 'we would idolise them' (particularly, effective, strikers), just evaporates. Emperor's new clothes. We need him and he doesn't want us. Tough to take, but mainly because we're desperate/have limited choices. Well f*** him, however reasonable or frankly deluded the basis of his choice was. He is on my personal blacklist now. Next disappointment step on up.

Bollocks. Would have looked good in Black and White stripes.

Well this is a bit depressing. Enjoyed briefly entertaining the idea.

Might be something as pathetic as it is easier to travel to from current home. Who in their right mind would rather play for their manager than ours?
-
Think his poisitioning was questionable. It wasn’t exactly top bins and he must know Alonso could get it up and over from there.

Nicolai Jorgensen to stay at Feyenoord

Cheerio Nic. It might have been nice to have you. -
South Americany/Byker to be fair.
-
Has to be a huge selling point if he still has ambition. Come here get on the end of the chances we have been making/will make, be our first choice.

Like a kid from a poor family expecting to much for Christmas, hoping for Scalextric or a trainset only for the father to spend the little money they have on booze and tabs...ends up getting a single second hand hot wheels car.

“Hello?” It’s a bust of Lionel’s Neanderthal ancestor? “Truly” bad. -
Well we’ll see. Impressed you managed to avoid the word ‘walk’.
-
Fair point, though we’d have all kicked-off if he’d gone without replacement and it would have been a hell of a risk (that said, doubt Mitro would have done any worse if he’d played more).
-
Still think we’ll make two signings and at least one outgoing. Two and half days (presuming it closes midnight on Wednesday?)

Hello? Come on man. Come on what, or where? That is a remarkably bad ... bad... well whatever it is meant to be, it’s bad! -
That is quite funny. I was wondering if we could find out who they had lined up as a replacement.
-
Me? Yeah. Fair enough. Your initial description was the MOTD take on it and we might have predicted 3-0 when it came out of the bag. I didn’t see it but felt encouraged by the radio commentary; early on, it made it sound quite the opposite of the predicable rout.

Guessing you must be from some ‘non-aligned’ pit village, near hell; a sheep-shagger; or rattling around some soulless new town.

What the fucking hell is that? -
Did you watch the full game? Genuinely curious.
-
Cuntish, Chelsea-centric, take on the match by Lawrenson, on MOTD. Inference that we looked more of a Championship side than Cardiff. No acknowledgement of what sounded like, in the main, a good first half performance, conceding two goals on the break /counter attack, and then the difficulty of facing a two goal deficit against a top team.
