This. It was an incredibly tight last 10 and the last thing you want is a raw striker giving the ball away in dangerous positions. Is it that hard to understand why Howe might trust Willock more?

It proves it didn't hit him on the shoulder like you suggested I have seen the replay several times, you don't need to deny obvious facts just because he's a Newcastle player. There's a separate question as to whether his hand is in a 'natural position' or not, but it quite clearly hits him on the upper arm.

When Spurs were counterattacking and he handballed it while already on a yellow. Was obvious what he was doing.

He's been underwhelming for two seasons now for Dortmund. Would be a poor signing.

Not true, made good saves v Villa (Digne free kick) and Ipswich (Smozidics clean through) -
They’ve literally got 7 fewer points than Wolves in the last 3 games

You’re 100% right. If he wasn’t facing a ban it was a decision we’d all be applauding 9 times out of ten. You can’t play a game thinking about a potential suspension in the next one.

Oh Froggy you sweet deluded man

If you watch that back the ball gets fired at his weaker foot at quite some pace, it’s nowhere near as bad a miss as it first looks.

Got a great assist, what are you talking about?

This is pretty much word for word what people were saying about Hall last year Turned out there was nothing wrong, no conspiracy and he was just being eased in like Howe has done with so many of our players

Errr no. Forgot about the keeper?

I'd hope Eddie knows not to breach PL rules by now tbh.

Christ, a late candidate for worst post of 2024 sneaks in.

I know it might not make the most PSR sense but out of Bruno, Gordon and Isak I'd sacrifice the latter two ahead of Bruno. He just gets the club. I'll be gutted if/when he eventually leaves. He could be here for another decade.

Why are Leicester so high

They do do those deals, and both deals have been largely panned as poor bits of business so far. So it was odd to use them both as examples when a) both players have started poorly and b) both clubs will be ending up with losses as a result of those transfers.

Some odd examples given there given the regret shown by Arsenal/Spurs fans on the Merino/Solanke signings
-
Why do people keep suggesting this as if paying him all of the remaining money he is owed up front would ever be a sensible financial decision

How does Trippier shore up the defence when it's widely accepted that Livramento is a more solid defender than him?
