I reckon this, gentleman's agreement like.
-
I think yes as there's no loan rules in place for European competitions, and we're not allowed to put a clause i believe, i'm not 100% though, just going by what i've looked up.
-
I think loans rules are league specific, whereas Leagues can have their own rules, there's no overall set of rules governing them.
-
I think there's a ruling that you can't stop loan players playing against their parent club in European Competition, or a better way to put it is there's not rules against it, and i don't believe a club can put a clause in for European competitions. Not sure why i think but I'm sure i've read that somewhere.

I love the fact we're unpredictable, we could sign a couple of decent players and then a so called marquee player, or 2 marquee players, a combination of the two plus youngsters. The fact the papers know nowt is fabulous, thinking we have only this or that to spend, or we might be going for Maguire, Messi or Ronaldo. Just utter tripe because the club is telling them nothing.

We're like a proper run club now, it's so weird

Woo could get Bayern, Real Madrid and AC Milan -
This is what Brighton do, promising players fairly cheap from great scouting. Love how our club is now run, absolutely love it.

Unless we get some CM's in we're awfully light in that area, and that's just for the Premier League. I can see us signing one CM, and Joel being used in CM as his more natural position. And a winger coming in for that to be so, just my take on it. Of course Joe, Isak and Willock could be used left, but i don't think that's how the squad will evolve. It's fascinating to see how it will go though, it's such a strange position to be in, knowing we'll sign very good players across the squad.
-
Well Willock plays left but from centre midfield, so you can't include him in the left sided numbers really, he's, iirc only ever started wide left once. Joe has so aye he can, Isak also but I don't think that will continue really, I think we'll see rotation of him and Wilson up top with the extra Cup to play in now. I suspect Joe will play mainly central midfield for the same reasons. So for me it's ASM & Gordon as the two purely for the left wing position, with rest as stop gaps, and as you've quite rightly said, just the two on the right. Another proper wide player who can play either side is probably a must for the extra games.

No Desire for this rubbish again.
-
Yeah, A perfectly fair point over Ashley.
-
Don't get the Shola hate, post playing career like. A geordie working for the club his loves, if he wasn't doing a decent job I've no doubt he would be out. I mean, i doubt he's sitting in his arse just collecting his pay packet like.

Barnsley getting mugged like, should have had a penalty and a debatable red.

Player of the Season: Joelinton, Botman & Isak, can't split them. Most Improved Player of the Season: Longstaff and Murphy. Most Disappointing Player: Gordon Signing of the Season: Pope Goal of the Season: ASM v Wolves Assist of the season: Willock's v Tottenham Game of the Season: 6-1 v Tottenham & 2-0 v Man Utd, can't split them with how good we were in both. Moment of the Season: Willlock's header v Man Utd, that was the moment i really thought top 4 is going to happen. Manager rating out of 10: 10 despite the final loss Season rating out of 10: 10 as above.
-
Holding midfielder top of the list for me, maybe even two. What a fabulous season, haven't enjoyed one properly for so long.
-
Good football that.
-
Aye could be that way, be interesting to see anyhoo.
-
Reckon Gordon will play as one of the 3 cm's, drifting left like Willock does.
-
We ain't selling Bruno, mental to even think it right now.
-
Can we just not be happy? I'm so happy we could sign a traffic light and I'd think it was great

We did the same against Man City under Rafa, stay in the game and try to nick it, it's a compliment to how far we've come in 18 months, that's how I'd look at it.
