Everyone is hypocritical, that's life. I want us to be something I've never seen before, winning trophies and playing great football again. Aye our majority owners country is moralistically horrendous in a lot of areas, however I simply don't care outwardly, there was nothing I or any other fan could do. Privately my opinion is the same as most, but that doesn't mean shite at the end of day, so now I just want us to win.

He's class, anyone else a tad worried about the poor clearances sometimes, noticed it v Tranmere as well. Not getting enough welly on them, probably just getting used to the speed of our game. Love the way he strolls about though, never seems flustered.

I'm quite surprised at how few headers he wins from forward/long passes, he actually held the ball up OK today from passes down the channel or into him, that was his only highlight mind. But overall he's just a very disappointing player.

What i noticed a lot today, he was the last man back on set penises, every time it was cleared, high, low, spinning or whatever it just didn't matter, his first touch and decision making was flawless in those situations. A couple of error as well mind in general play, but this lad is pure class like.

That's my take on it, you don't do that if Longstaff was terrible and Willock was hiding. we played alright, lacked creativity yes, but with Wood up front I'm not surprised. A centre forward in a front three has to be involved in a making that creativity, and Wood is so limited. He's just not very good, he can't move in spaces and make runs that pull centre backs around like Wilson (with pace) does, therefore making openings for others to create chances. It's hard to create anything with such a static player up top. Not that it was all his fault today mind, we weren't great and still played OK for me. Not to call anyone spoilt, but there's definitely some rumblings about our play and what we should be doing. As you say it's night and day, and maybe some if us need to slow down a tad on the magic mushrooms

For all our moaning we're a good side, good sides playing below par and get something out of games. We're no longer a Ashley Newcastle who would lose or hope to nick something, we're a proper possession attacking side.

Yeah he's been fine, the one thing i would say is he can be, and is a fair amount careless with the ball in his short passing. I suppose that's decision making.

I think because we've been so good a dip like today shows how far we've impoved, and we've actually played alright, again that shows how far we've come in such a short time.
