  1. If Jones starts Darlow in goal he fuck off the end of Brighton pier, last season told those with working eyes, everything they needed to know when Bruce hesitated on the same change. Dubs is our best GK, play him, it really is that simple. And while we're at it Jones, you half wit. For Schar and Fernandez not to be part of a back three is fucking mental, you tit.
  2. I'm just glad we're getting a young manager who is ambitious, aye you can't please all, but I'm rather pleased
  3. So all the talk of a poorly handled manager search, and yet our owners have been going over Howe's plans for the club over the last couple of days. Poor handled = Doing due diligence, well i for one like this way of doing things, whether Howe is a success or not.
  4. Aye, really is a nasty side to way things get reported, everything is just negative.
  5. I'm sold now, there's some levels of Rafa obsession of football that Howe seems to have.
  6. How has/is our search for a manager been shambolic by the way, we approached managers and they've said no. Is it shambolic because the first one said no, or the 2nd or 3rd or whatever. The treatment we get really is unrivalled in it's negativity. I want us to win things, not because I've suffered years of crap and would like to see that, i want us to do it now so i can say 'fuck you's lot, you bunch of absolute cunts'
  7. Just watching the Eddie Howe Mic'd up vid, he's so detailed, i know that doesn't mean he'll be successful but the contrast to Bruce is mental. It's the way he tells his squad how their moment isn't good enough when they go forward, and what they need to do correct it.
  8. Yeah i liked that, so superior to anything Bruce ever said or did.
  9. I hope it's Howe mainly for drawings by Squires on him, they're mint
  10. I reckon it started with him defending the tackle on Haidara by Mcmanaman, he acted like a right arsehole over that.
  11. Whether Howe is good enough or not, matter of opinion i guess, but he's infinitely better than Bruce or any other imbecile Ashley would have appointed (Rafa and Hoots aside). I'm not going to stamp my feet we're not signing a big name, fucking hell a month ago it looked like a full season of 'well you knooow'. This is the start of something, and no doubt the new owners will make the odd bad decision, but we're in such a better place than we've probably ever been, even if it doesn't look like it right now.
  12. I quite like Graham Potter, done it in a smaller league, then the Championship and now doing a great job at Brighton, but don't mind Emery at all.
  13. One was me, it was supposed to be a yes but I was doing it on my phone, I turned into a total div and selected no I'm a definite yes fwiw.
  14. That's the length of time he'll be able to put up with Levy for.
  15. If true he got me, so well played
  16. I think you're right, would be interesting to see his reaction if they do offer him the job again.
  17. Not according to some reports, a tax issue was what i read.
  18. True, but there were no guarantees a new manager would have got anything. A new man straight away would have been ideal, but as I think most of us suspect, they want a sporting director and manager in together. So if that's suspicion is correct that's taking a bit more time. Is that ideal ? Nope. Will it work ? One would hope so. All I know is, despite the delay I'm far more encouraged for the future. If I have to wait another week or two, I'm prepared to do that without going overboard with worry. After what's gone before, that's nowt imo.
  19. I'd rather they took their time and got the right man. Ok that has meant possibly losing points, but would we have got points against Tottenham and Chelsea ? Possibly, but it's a moot point now. Get the right bloke, even if it takes a few weeks, not an issue in the long run imo if they get it right.
  20. It is quite mad how some people see things so differently.
  21. Perfect this, Ole will be thought of as good enough again......a run of wins......boom a stuffing by Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool. This will never not be funny.
  22. I don't think you can judge it on the game today, of course you can pick apart what we did, or didn't do. What we should have done with the line up and tactics etc. We're an awful football team, we reflected what our manager was, an awful manager. But judging us against the best team on current form, and probably the best all round squad and all round football ability in our league, is probably not the best yard stick. In saying that though, we were terrible, utterly awful, a team who can't pass the ball 5 yards to each other, a side who create fuck all most of the time, but on the flip side, we're also a side with no confidence after being managed by an utter buffoon. Without new players we're down imo, but a new manager and a few signings we should get out of it, and even if that does happen it's going to be a tough fight. We need organisation, we need a system to create chances, a pattern of play. The long and the short of it, we need a proper manager now.
  23. Well hopefully this will speed up the new manager appointment. We've been utterly woeful in all aspects.
