  1. Just to clear things up. If contact with the head is made through dangerous play in the area, it's a penalty. If contact is not made but there is dangerous play via a high foot, then an indirect free kick is awarded in the area.
  2. Correct, it's about endangering an opponent, where the ball is irrelevant at the stage you enter endangering an opponent.
  3. Being played out of position doesn't really help him much.
  4. Longstaff got his head to the ball first, that's bollocks what the refs association have just said,
  5. Aye i get that to a extent agree but as Joeyt just said, why not let the onfield ref have a look to decide if he got it wrong. I also agree as someone else alluded to, VAR being implemented by idiots isn't helping help it get accepted. As you say though, it's all subjective, no one will ever agree on things.
  6. Have to say it's totally baffling, that's the easiest decision to make. Let the on field ref have a look to decide.
  7. A professional referee looked at that replay and decided it wasn't dangerous play. That's the problem with VAR in regard to decisions like that, we have some of the worst refs in the world looking at the replay. Ref's trained by one of the worst refs we ever had in Mike Reilly. VAR has no chance if you favour it with idiots like him in charge of it and our refs.
  8. VAR didn't make the decision he did, well unless you think VAR is a person ?
  9. The amount of 5 to 10 yard passes we mess up is astounding. It's Sunday park stuff.
  10. To be fair to me, it's the only room that isn't a kitchen, bathroom or bedroom
  11. Exactly right and where our idiotic refs are getting it wrong. It's the ref looking at the replays who's got that wrong remember.
  12. With a margin of error in each frame, when the ball is actually travelling forward is the debatable thing. Something that close should always go with the initial decision.
  13. Top of the arm for the Wolves player, line as if it's drawn across from the armpit.
  14. Phil Brown back as Southend United manager after they sack Mark Molesley. Strange timing like.
