I don't think there's anything dodgy about the fact you're onside if you're behind the ball. If two players are through, they shouldn't be able to pass? He means the defender playing the ball making everyone onside. If moving in position to score when offside, and being played onside because a defender played at the ball because said defender can't know if the attacker is offside for sure. How in gods name is that not gaining an advantage by being offside, the law is fucking ridiculous if that the case.
