NUFC vs Arsenal - 11/8/19 @ 2pm (Live on Sky Sports)

Can't deny that appreciation for what the players did, under Rafa. I want to watch Longstaff turn into the leagues best midfielder, I want to see Almiron play with that infectious smile, every week. I want to watch Schar take a shower. Not interested in the new players, or Buce, or the club. In an ideal world Ashley will recieve abuse from Level 7 and he and Charnley will go up to sort out the abusers, and they both get in each others way, causing them to both fall, tragically to their deaths. Maybe Bishop and Barnes could break Charnley's fall, and Cameron Diaz can take care of them, for the rest of their lives. -
I think people are jumping the gun a bit. It seemed to me like a lot of people packed their season tickets in and plenty had had enough once Rafa left. I doubt many of those are the ones now going with this annoying superfan message on social media so IMO there's still a silent and significant chunk of the fan base who have walked away. I honestly think we're seeing the beginning of the end in terms of capacity crowds, how quickly it will dwindle will naturally depend on results and performances, and also how many people step in to take the seats that have been left behind. We'll see but honestly I think some people on here are getting disproportionately disheartened by some weird characters on Twitter when in fact the penny dropped for far more this summer than ever before during Ashley's ownership. I agree. The club has made an incredible effort to highlight the existence of the superfan, like Seymour (anybody seen him , recently?) You only need a small group of people to repeat shit constantly to make an opinion appear widespread.

I honestly think we should now boycott the Chronicle as well. No buying the paper, no clicking on their links. D'you think? I reached that conclusion 7 years ago. Been saying it for years, just saying now it’s something AO should push. Fuck the Chronice. Start boycotting Sky and BT. They're responsible for the national attitude toward the club, and the fans.

Hope it's postponed. -

Anybody who reads the papers, and watches Sky/BT, won't know te problems at the club, because the reporting, in general, always takes Ashley's side.

Can hardly ban a number like. Surely the fact a gambling site is on the front of the seniors shirt is the main issue here- not the fact a players number matches the sponsor number. Serious about kids gambling- don’t let gambling sites sponsor seniors shirts At least it's going in the player's pockets.

Over the last two Premier League seasons, Joselu has a goal every 383 minutes and Carroll has one every 401 minutes. Any assists? Didn't check to be honest just wanted to add to context to the idea that joselu is the worst player to have ever stepped on a football pitch or that Carroll is the same player that left in 2011 According to whoscored, the source for the goal stats, Joselu has one assist in the last two PL seasons and Carroll has none. I'm surprised. I don't watch much football these days, because it's shit, but I could've swore I'd seen Carroll grab a few knock downs.
-
It's pretty much the only reason he's still a pro footballer.

We have to be the most gullible and malleable set of fans by far. Have to admit my generation of fans have some blame in this. We sat, or stood by in those days, and watched successive owners and regimes fuck about with us. Never anything to the malicious levels this cunt is doing, but we still were far too acquiescent. In our defence we didn't have some of the tools available now to help garner any momentum (social media, the internet, SKY with virtual 24hrs coverage). Relying on the Pink and printed news for our information, we were far less informed than we all are now. We still didn't do anything like enough though. Was proud of the Magpie group and the actions leading up to the takeover from Mckeag et al (In hindsight he looks a fucking saint), but as a fanbase we are far too soft, pliable and frankly pitiful. Good job it wasn't us being asked to spearhead the cause for voting rights or improved workers rights et...No point. Not enough will join in, would be disloyal etc...we are living up to the thick Geordie bastard perception well enough though. Heartbreaking. He will be pissing himself laughing. Have to admire the cunt in some ways. We're Cambodia, and he's Colonel Walter E. Kurtz.

2 in CM. Crikey. Cant see ASM or Almiron tracking back like Perez did. I was actually quite impressed by Almiron's defensive work, last season. -
Didn't Keegan say something similar about Asprilla? Or was that Pardew about Sameobi.
-
Not sure which sickens me more, the fact he said it, or the fact the Chron is reporting it.
-
If there was any chance of him staying fully fit for the season, speculative comparisons with Rondon wouldn't be unreasonable.
-
Aye. But his day is Thursday.
-
Imagine the Geordie roar, when Brucie asks him to warm up. Sky'll love that.
-
Exactly, it's just a phrase that some people take too literally.
-
A fully fit Carroll would be awesome. He was 24 last time he was fully fit.
-
Aye but they never had King Brucie as manager.
-
Bruce has been playing 1 or 2 forwards in pre-season though. We won’t see Miggy-Joey-Maxi together I’m afraid. Almiron in the middle 3 wouldn't be completely mental.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAxNf4yGqiE Hello, Good Evenin, Welcome To a nothing club. I don't have any problem buying promising younger players in positions like this. I don't rate Yedlin that much, and it will provide competition to Manquillo, who is ok but we still need to strengthen that area. Well, he's a year younger than Yedlin and the same age as Manquillo though. We should not look to a signing to provide competition. We should sign one we expect to slot right in as first choice. Aye. If you've got 3 RBs you shouldn't need to strengthen that area. At least one of them should be good enough. -
You can guarantee they won't mention the lack of Wor Flags at the Arsenal game.

And I'm back in. Stevie Brucies black and white army. Rafa whoo-ooh, Rafa who? Rafa whoo-ooh, Rafa who?
