Is that the share price,, or the value of the company? Wouldn't be surprised if he's just doubled his shares in the same period.
-
The asking price is now £354million

It's absolutely comical. And it's even funnier that nobody in the media is reporting it in such a way, they just carry on reporting as though we're jus like all the other PL clubs.
-
Heard he's waiting to hear if the takever happens, before deciding. Apparently, a flatulence smell reduction underwear maker in Abu Dhabi, says it's definitely a possibility.
-
How many players have actually scored 20 PL goals in a season? I doubt it's many.
-
Lamb and mint sauce. This. Giving your age away though. These came out in the late 1970's ... Brannigans did a Lamb and Mint in the early 21stC.

If Bruce signs, Charnley will be in Greggs a lot more often. Increases the probability.

The media never bites the hand that feeds it. Until it is dead. People who's job it is to FIND stories of interest, are given stories of interest, daily. Leaves them time to do some proper journalism, like testing Football Manager.
-
Charnley gonna channel his inner Keegan, "Just go out and enjoy yourselves, lads."
-
"Boycott Arsenal" as been appearing on my fb feed a lot in the last 3 weeks. I'm boycotting NUFC, myself. A 9 week campaign to promote boycotting the arsenal game, may be a success. But from that point forward each individual campaign will have [except when we have cup weekends off], at most, a week to campaign for support. Just boycott the club FFS.

Do you genuinely believe our next manager isn't already on the payroll?
-
Profitable for the owner tho Aye, although call me mental, i would have thought staying in the Premiership might be a tad more profitable but hey, he knows best And going into this season with no manager or staff, our snail paced buying of players we under value, a squad less its top goalscorer and player of the year centre forward, and bag of shit back up centre forward. And with only 4 weeks until the window slams shut hahahaha, aye he knows best Such pathetic levels of management it's utterly ridiculous, but like you say it's profitable for him either way it seems. I think Ashley has calculated that it is cheaper to win promotion than it is to fight relegation. And he's always abl to get his loan back from the TV money.
-
Stupid enough to hire Joe Kinnear. Twice.
-
I'm in this camp. Ashley should want to sell as this is the perfect time to make the maximum amount of £££ on us. However we know if it falls through it's purely down to him pulling the rug. Honestly - and extremely optimistically - I think it's all very likely to be done, he's just trying to drag it out as long as he can to torture us. Laugh at the people who haven't renewed, they've lost their loyalty points in a futile gesture of opposition to him while he's made all the money etc. Irrespective, no matter what happens I will keep an eye out for his fortunes and hope for him to face financial ruin and some other severe hardships. I'll be out for a heavy celebration the day he dies. Oh aye he just wants to make a quick £100million. He has had 12 years of brand association with one of the biggest names in world sport. Performing in [possibly] the world's most televised competitions. There is a reason why he wanted the club to be self-sustaining. If he's selling, he's selling cheap, to somebody that will allow him to maintain his brand association. He has the perfect vehicle with everything that he needs, but he also has a football club which is an unnecessary burden.

The only fascination for me, now, is whether or not Caulkin will be allowed to do what he's paid to do report who the 'other buyers' were, when it collapses. I imagine there'll be more important news to cover by that time.
-
I disagree. He's a young talented English player who looked extremely comfortable in the Premier League last season even scoring a goal in the short amount of games he played. He has all the makings of a future England international. Now I don't agree that he's worth £50m on a pure player quality level as he is so raw right now, but in this market clubs just simply aren't going to sell a player like this for less than that, so if Man Utd want him that's what they have to pay. Its a gamble for them but if he stays here he either won't work out or he will improve and be worth much more than £50m and might potentially leave to a rival. Also, we have to remember that £50m is fuck all to Man Utd in the grand scheme of things. I doubt the likes of Brentford could afford him.

Just taking the decision to walk away from the club (as long as CUNT remains) is reason to be proud. Don't walk away from each other. Newcastle should still remain united. It may be the football that brought us together, but there is no need to disband just because the fotball is over.
-
If Rafa had stayed it would have meant he'd got the assurances he wanted. Signing Rondon would have been a sign. Which is why it was always more likely that he would leave.
-
Thought it was a trailer for a new series of 'Life on Mars'.
-
I can't see us getting >50K. Somewhere in the mid 40s would be more likely. Still depressing though. but nee surprise. People are dumb as fuck and it doesn't end with the toon. Nearly everybody who paid to see 'Suicide Squad' will be happy to pay to watch the remake.
-
I'm just grateful somebody had the foresite to screenshot it before it was taken down, seconds later. How fortuitous.
-
No he doesn't. He's already blaming BZG for losing Rafa. Given his reasons, one can only assume that if any manager comes in, before the takeover is complete, then it will be a cheap option, with a cheap pay-off. We'll be stuck with tht cheap manager, when the takeover collapses, and CUNT will pretend he did everything to accomodate them.
-
It would be more annoying if it ever got to 11.
