  1. Couldn't do any worse than May. And he's Swiss so knows all about life outside the EU.
  2. The intrinsic link is the general ignorance of the general public. Do you honestly believe Jade Goody was an expert at making fucking perfume? Smells like teen racism.
  3. Again, this is willful misrepresentation. There is a link between Sports Direct and NUFC, there is no link between Ferdinand's merchandise and NUFC Wilful misrepresentation? Do me a favour. We're an empty vessel of a club which only exists to advertise Sports Direct. It's the only purpose of NUFC under Mike Ashley's ownership. To suggest the 2 entities aren't linked is just laughable. Ferdinand's merch has no relation with NUFC. SD does. How can you all be so obtuse? Ashley owns both. If he is nasty about how Ashley looks after NUFC, there's a good chance Ashley will stop SD from stocking his tat. Conversely if he supports Ashley's running of the club, Ashley will be pleased and will give him some shelf room. Surely that's easy enough for anyone to see? I don't even know why I'm bothering to try to explain it to you because you're so clearly on the wind-up. No human being is actually this thick. Ferdinand is an icon. He doesn't need Ashley of all people to shell his merch. This isn't some jumped up youtuber with 1 million subs. This is one of the great English CB's. Ashley is currently selling his shit, if he goes on live TV and slags him off, other businesses would think twice about doing business with him. The fact you can't acknowledge that, demonstrates that you are not as serious as you pretend.
  4. He barely let us down in that respect, during his and Diame's golden spell in the second half of last season. That said, we can't go into the second half of this season expecting that to just occur. Same with Perez.
  5. It's quite simple really: There is no bid, this is all nonsense and spin designed appease the fans and to allow another transfer window to pass without us doing any of that silly "transfer" stuff. Once you accept that, everything that happens, every leak, and every article in the papers all makes perfect sense. Classic Occams Razor? The explanation with the least assumptions here is not a multiparty conspiracy puppetmastered by Bishop atop his throne in Castle Grayskull. The easiest explanation is Ashley is a cunt who's not selling up and doesn't mind stringing people along. The end result is the same - a window of no spending - but everyone being an actor in his great deceptive play is a bit much. There is no need to assume that, if he has any, his friends are likewise rich cunts who like to fill their boring lives by throwing scraps at peasants, and having a right old laugh. Haw haw.
  6. Just watched a replay, from inside the goal, of one of their corners. Poor Woodman was like a fucking piñata.
  7. The club is worth fuck all as a football club. It's worth more to Ashley for his own purposes, than it will ever be to any prospective buyer.
  8. Can't see us sanctioning any transfers when Rafa won't be here in 6 months.
  9. Nah it was our new "preferred travel partner" arriving in a different travel partner. Typical of our club, telling us one thing whilst openly demonstrating the opposite.
  10. Sounds like a name for a laxative salt, though we probably wouldn't be closing in, on that.
  11. I'd much much rather players earn the lion share of the money, not people like Mike Ashley. Or maybe the entire game could just stop robbing it from the pockets of fans, in the first place.
  12. The average salary is £26000ish, anybody who is earning that per week, can fuck off with the short career argument. You only need a year to earn more than the average person earns in a lifetime. Also they don't take their careers into their own hands, they have agents.
  13. Pardew will be back come August whatever division we are in im convinced of it Absolutely no chance of either, but I imagine the reality will be just as bad. We're talking about the man who replaced Keegan with Kinnear. I'm discounting nothing.
  14. All that destruction needs to be aimed in the appropriate direction.
  15. Look at the players he was forced to sell and you get some idea of what he is dealing with. Sissoko, Townsend and Wijnaldum. I know many of our fans were cock-a-hoop when we sold Sissoko and Wijnaldum, but they have done better out of it than us. I felt the same as most others when they were sold - we were getting an excellent price for them, but we knew the money would be pocketed by the FCB and not spent on other transfers. We got rid of some overrated mercenaries, and replaced them with dog-s*** no-marks. If the club was run to succeed rather than turn a profit, we could have built up the core of a very good squad for the money we got for Sissoko and Wijnaldum. Instead, we are left with by far the weakest squad since before KK took over, and it's painful. Still unwilling to face up to the fact that they were too good for us? Sissoko has gone on to prove almost invaluable to poch, and Wijnaldum has been a central figure in the development of Liverpool. Neither of them have stolen the glory but they are still seen as vital to both their respetive teams
  16. If he knows al the media(wich he probably does) why hasn't he denied it to anybody if he's not interested in a takeover. What's in it for him being linked with us if it's not true? Has anybody in the media asked him?
  17. He's a championship striker, had more than one chance to prove otherwise and failed, that being said he is a superior option to Joselu who is hardly a footballer. Has he? I thought last season was his first opportunity as first choice striker. He started with an injury which affected his confidence, and then he struggled with his finishing, but the amount of chances he had, and missed, was quite high. History will clearly remember him as a champo striker but it could have been different.
  18. Would rather see Spurs win it. To win it without any transfer outlay would be amazing.
  19. Such a dominant formation, I'm surprised none of the top managers have adopted it.
  20. All he has to do is say "you should never believe what you read in the media", and his reputation is enhanced. I'm sure he's far too busy to respond to such childish rumours. Has anybody even approached him for comment?
  21. It's the same for people who work for Sodexo. If there is a story that is of interest to the media they will be briefed, on matchday, as to what they should say in response to questions.
