  1. The official bid was 3 sports direct mugs + $28M
  2. I still think he's best as a forward. In the box, with little time to think.
  3. Only when he got his hernia.
  4. They'd equate it to some sort of Voodoo sacrifice, no doubt.
  5. We don't pay the going rate for the type of player that can cope on a weekly basis, in front of our crowd. When we were an ambitious club we'd pay the money for that kind of composure.
  6. Totally agree. He doesn't give two shits about the damage we do to the club. Target his businesses, and all businesses who do business with him. Make his brand utterly toxic.
  7. To the actual letter of the law ref should have stopped the game for the head injury. During the break in play he would have reviewed the incident (either after being alerted to it, or actually being a good ref and taking a look at it himself). The whole incident is indefensible. Does the ref have to stop the game every time somebody clutches their head? Or is the decision down to whether he thinks the injury is genuine? If Dean thought Perez had been hit in the face with the ball, he would likely assume he is faking it. Doe sthe ref have to stop the game anyway?
  8. Do we not? Has he not spoken in public about the negative impact (in his own mind) of the current situation?
  9. I missed Kenedy, like. I was too busy watching Moses part the red fucking sea.
  10. He's a young captain, who is evidently struggling with the pressure this season. Of course everybody on here (not everybody) would have been ice cool at his age. I know I believe I would. But when they told me I couldn't play under the influence of 3 pills, and a couple of trips I'd shit mesel.
  11. Have to question Rafa's decision to put Yedlin in the middle. He's not good, face to face with the attacker, too easily sold.
  12. I love Sterling, like. He's a good egg. Shit at spelling, but probably in the top 3% of footballers. To me there is a double edge to this reporting. The rising anger in respect of inequality, can no longer be ignored by the media, but they can channel that fury in a certain direction, that also feeds their heinous perceptions.
  13. Exactly. Someone should have stopped the run and someone (Kenedy) should have tracked the goalscorer. On the evidence of the match somebody just had to say BOO! and he would have given it away. They did fuck all.
  14. Jota walks the ball the length of the pitch unchallenged and it's this lads fault? Some people just love to hate.
  15. We do look vulnerable to the counter, but they look about as effective as we do on the counter. They certainly aren't as dangerous as West Ham.
  16. Would anybody swap the fairs cup for 10 years of Michael Carrick?
  17. Beautiful writing. It actually felt as though I was really there. In a dressing room just down from the press conference room, in the annex behind the indoor facilities at the club's training ground.
  18. No this is the empire striking back. Looking forward to the return of the geordi, though. Once we recover from the attack of the clones.
