Martin Solveig, the DJ? Great tune

Reminds me of the time I made up stories so I could get angry and then bookended it with more liquid faecal matter based on my preexisting prejudices because I despise people who I don’t class as real men. Enlighten me on how I’m wrong then? Well to start with he wanted to join us permanently, not go back to Chelsea. So there's that. Not been regularly googling Kennedy's latest quotes I'll be honest, but last I checked he specifically did an interview in September stating he wanted to go back to Chelsea after the loan and become a champion for them. Perhaps that's where Odin is getting the impression from? I think that's probably fair enough, but was a fairly stupid thing to say in an interview ahead of a new season with a different side. Aside from that, he's one of our better players. In September? I remember him saying that at the time his loan was up and we let him go. It seemed at the time to be a straightforward declaration of ambition. If he said it in September that is weird.

Were you touching yourself when you typed that? You were weren't you?

A striker who scores 1 in 2? I know, it baffles me, too. A 1 in 2 striker that's not even a 1 in 2 striker for Man United (not that that's even that big a deal anymore) cost £75m and is in a league amongst Kane, Aguero, Sterling, Salah, Mané, Fermino, Aubemeyang, Lacazette all of whom imo have more to their game than just goals. He can hold it up and he scores goals at around 1 in 2, but that's about it, he lacks consistency, his control is often poor, and yet he's the 2nd most expensive Premier League footballer of all time. So aye, I don't get the hype. 21 in 47 PL games, 4 in 8 in ECL. Not quite 1 in 2 but close enough. Point is when he was bought for that price he had a solid reputation as a 1 in 2, hence the hype for a big strong lad with time on his side.

Agreed, any match-goer stumbling on this thread wouldn't want to have anything to do with TMG. But just as long as a minority can consider themselves special. Sorry to hear Southwest Airlines made fun of you. It was obviously his sister.

Maybe Kenedy on a permanent contract is a different player to a one-year loan signing? Especially with a young family... It's all hypothetical, of course, but you can't simply say "exactly where we are now". Same two players only with 40 million difference in price, I doubt they would both turn into world beaters because we paid actual coin for them, I get what you're saying though, maybe one or both would feel a greater duty to the club on a permanent deal. I don't know if Kenedy was prepared to sign a permanent deal , but after his performances last year, he'd be justified in wondering what he has to do. I gt a bit of tat feeling with him, sometimes it looks like he's trying too hard to get noticed.

How is cancelling the protest because nobody will change, different to not joining the protest because Ashley will never change?

Give Ashley one last chance? Get tae fuck. -
Not a bad idea. Think it could work with Shelvey dropping deeper. Would have been destructive on the counter against Burnley last night.

WTF is that? A dance when you can't touch each other? Hakka-n Suker?

Martin Dúbravka (now playing for Burnley)

He's known for his confidence in coming for crosses, he obviously adjusts his positioning for that purpose. Just unlucky on this occasion. Defence should be expected to put more pressure on. Clark was at fault more than Dubs. But then maybe it was just smart play by the forward. -
That doesn't surprise me. Second half of last season he was inch perfect 99% of the time. He looked horrendous going into the tackles, like, and I felt sure everyone would result in a foul. But he walks away with it stuck to his toe. Suggests to me that a. he's a fucking good tackler, and b. he attempts tackles that most wouldn't.

Like it.

I want to see a Dance XI so that it can include A. Mokoena.

Aye we were 18th. Ashley going on the "wage bill determines final placings" mantra. -
Scabbing it is fucking abhorrent, to be honest. And I know I read that after reading about somebody's 85 year old grandad, and I'm making connections that likely aren't there, but to use the term scabbing it, in reference to anybody from the generation who know all about strikes, is just disrespectful. It's cultural appropriation is what it is.

On the subject of whether Ashley will be laughing at the money he has already received for people not turning up; I would imagine that the contract with Sodexo will involve a guaranteed provision of custom on match days. It's customary in such agreements. Not sure what the penalties will be, but Sodexo won't be happy and if we can successfully encourage his partners that he is not good to do business with then we not only hit him at the club but in his own business world too.

Unless Kenedy moves to the 10 spot. He's all over the pitch as a left winger, and I think he could do that job. It would mean Dummett losing the invaluable protection he offers, like.
-
He's laughing equally at all of us. We are each just various sources of amusement. He laughs at some for their gullibility, he laughs at others for their anger at the gullible. He laughs at me cos I'm just a funny fucker.

It's the fickle nature of people.

So he could be compared to either Ben Arfa, or Obertan.

Revisionist history, these were your actual standpoints: Much more leading, clearly implying VAR will be used as a tool to aid big clubs. Which is what people have discussed as a result of your posts. No. Clearly pointing out that it could be. Which was my original comment, supported by the other two standpoints. Again, what people have been discussing is how unlikely the exploitation would be, because of you pointing it out - which you did. Well maybe I am guilty of assumption on this occasion, because I thought they were pointing out reasons why it wasn't possible, or beneficial.
