  1. It would be so much quicker if he just died. I no longer care if it is a slow painful death, hit by a bus doing 60 will suffice. If there is a god.
  2. So what you’re saying is every week this place is grumpy then? Brightens up, immeasurably on international breaks.
  3. So you're saying the whole thing has been the greatest long con in history. I'm sure I've seen it mentioned on numerous occasions.
  4. Is that not just an opportunity for him to buy back shares at a reduced price? I seem to remember that being discussed as his MO.
  5. Henry? The Mild-mannered janitor?
  6. A frog's arse is watertight.
  7. I've always hated those 'reaction' videos, but now I want to see everybody's reaction to that.
  8. Democratic Football Lads Alliance fuckin hell They just picked four words out of a hat containing their entire vocabulary.
  9. I was thinking that. Personally i couldn’t give a fuck if they took the club forward. As someone already pointed out, most owners are vile so we might aswell have a vile one that wants to win some trophies. Yes they all are bombing kids in Yemen. It’s not being picky ffs. No, but you’d be naive to not think that almost everyone with that kind of money doesn’t benefit from innocent people’s deaths somewhere along the line. I guess, with trickle down economics, we're all culpable. Oh that's such a weight off my shoulders.
  10. I love Shearer but I can't say I'm a fan of him dragging up that incident. I remember when Keegan was dropped by Sir Bobby, vaguely, because he rarely mentions it.
  11. Wasn't Shearer put in goal when on trial at Newcastle, or is that a myth.
  12. He got Liverpool closer to winning the league than Rafa or even free spending Klopp. It wouldn’t be the end of the world, far from it and probably my first realistic choice should Rafa go. Would rather Ronny "Fucking" Pickering That's who.
  13. Why not ? Remember that Mike Ashley is our owner before you answer. Ahem. Joe Kinnear.
  14. Thread title says it all. The fact he gets a standing ovation when he takes the stage says it all. He's an honourable man, who people know they can trust because he has led a life of integrity. He wears his heart on his sleeve and idiots have often referred to this as his weakness, but it his intrinsic strength. And it is why he truly is a legend.
  15. From the £360m they had at the end of April Amazon are looking for retail space.
  16. I always thought 1on1s was one of his strongest attributes.
  17. Remember when Given used to stand way over on one side so the taker had no choice but to aim in the empty side, and Shay would just run over and catch them. I think he'd stopped doing it when he joined us.
  18. Nah. We would have just lost 4-3 then and it would have been even more desperate today.
  19. It looked terrible but, and I've only seen it once, it looked to me as if Shelvey changes his run just as Atsu played the ball. It looked to me like Shelvey was charging into the space in front (where Atsu played it) but then switched.
  20. Canny article. I would say this though, if Rio's contribution was important to the conversation then maybe the fans reaction to JJs earlier, negative comments were just as important. Maybe without that backlash he wouldn't have been so compelled to speak out positively.
