  1. I'd have to seriously consider taking a cock up the arse if it meant I'd never have to read another of your miserable fucking posts again. A REAL cock? Or just a strap-on?
  2. If we're going to sign Kenedy, I'd like to see a left back who can confidently get ahead of him on the wing.
  3. Dummett said in a recent interview that he wants to be challenged, so I'd bring in somebody better, or equal with potential. There's nobody at the minute.
  4. On what I've seen, I'm inclined to agree. But I think Rafa believes in him.
  5. I'm not saying that using him as sub, will turn him into a starter. Just that he can be effective as that sub. No need to spend £20 million on that sub.
  6. Point is, he can score, but the pressure/lack of confidence is affecting his composure. Remove the pressure and he'll likely have more success. After all I'm pretty sure that is how he made his name. Obviously if we can sell him for £15 million and get a pacy forward who can score and will sit on the bench until the last 15 mins, for free, then that's a no-brainer.
  7. For all his flaws, Manquillo's cross for Peres is what Yedlin has been lacking all season. The fact that Rafa has given him game time towards the end of the season, suggests he hasn't given up on him. If he can work on his positioning, and learn to play Rafa's game then he could turn out okay.
  8. I disagree. I like Yedlin and Dummett, but we need somebody who can cross the ball consistently, on at least one side. Our attacks are too predictable, and whilst we create chances that would benefit from a competent finisher, the team would benefit more overall from the added thread of a fullback who can cross. Gives the defence more to think about.
  9. Ferguson rarely made wholesale changes though. He was always improving, a couple of positions per season. The season they won the treble, he only bought a couple of players, one being Jaap Stam.
  10. I'm all for shitting on our players and division, but I think I've come to the realisation that most everyone is shit. All the good and/or promising players are in the top 4-6 teams in every division. 10th place in Spain have the following strikeforce: Sergi Enrich Kike Charles They've scored 41 goals this season. Those players have 3/7/7 goals respectively. Eeeryone is shit apart from the big money lads. (And I agree with Gayle, but I would probably get rid on the basis of him being a confidence player. I don't think he'll ever be starting week-in week-out, so he's pretty useless to us) He could be an invaluable sub. Coming on when we're winning by the odd goal. No pressure to score, just a pacy outlet for counter-attacking.
  11. On current form Lascelles is the best English CB out there - I honestly can't think of anyone that's better (and I don't say this with any NUFC bias) Agreed. And he's still improving. Anything less than Virgil money would be an insult to the player.
  12. We are actually in really good shape, going forward. 2 fullbacks that can hit the forward would be a massive improvement. If we can get Kenedy and Ritchie closer to the forward then we'll benefit. And whilst I believe we can get £30 million for Mitro, I think he'd be worth more than that to us, if we got those fullbacks. Him and Peres, I think, could be tremendous together. 16 goals between them in their first season was impressive given their age. Sure we got relegated but the more mature elements of the squad have to take that responsibility. I think both players have since shown the desire that was lacking in their seniors, that first season. Priority has to be to sign Dubravka and Kenedy. We might get somebody for half the price of Kenedy, but there are few players that offer as much as he does in so many different areas of the pitch. So I'd move heaven and earth for him. After that I'll be generally happy, and anything extra will be a bonus. And no I'm not assuming everybody else will stand still, but we have Rafa, and any player here who stands still, will be left behind.
  13. I thought he was showing off his collection of beer-mats.
  14. You obviously didn't pay to sit and watch that shite. The players should know that they're still playing for their futures at the club and that Rafa is ruthless when moving players on. I think if you've just earned above the average annual salary for a 90 min shift, then the people doing 8 hours every day, so they can afford to inflate your ego as well as your wallet, have every right to boo you. It changes nothing though.
  15. I don't accept the fatigue argument, like. They've played one game a week for months, and got a 3 week break. But I don't think it was a lazy performance it just lacked intensity, and at times composure.
  16. At the moment, there are more teams that are better than us than worse. Our priority has been to stop the other team from being as good as they can, and we've done a remarkable job of it. The more quality we can add to that philosophy the better.
  17. Regardless of the fact that they are still clinging to the frayed threads of premiership survival?
  18. Le Tissier doesn't even know what a transfer is.

    Jacob Murphy

Did well when he robbed Mcclean and played it out left.
  20. No way could that can be considered a kick. Get the fuck over yourselves.
  21. At the end of the season WBA will be in the position, whereby had they sacked Pardew one week earlier, or hired him one week later, they would have stayed up. That's something to be mentioned in polite conversation.
  22. Robbed by the ref at the end there. 30 seconds left when the foul, which should have been a booking in itself, occurred. And he blows as soon as we take it.
  23. Didn't realise he was no45 at Anderlecht.
  24. Scored the goal that ensured the Mackems finish bottom.
  25. I don't think we should break our wage structure for him.
