He's one player at that level that I can see buying into the project.

We struck gold with Bruno, I think. We're not a very attractive tangible proposition to the top players, yet. We're selling a vision, and not many footballers have the imagination to look at us and see themselves. Even Brighton players must look at our training facilities and think "WUT?" This is why I'm willing to wait to get the right people.
-
Those who star in the world cup might command big money moves, leading to next level players being let go. Leicester might blow the Fofana money on the player of the tournament, and sell Maddison for £35 million. Then we'd need to find a replacement for Bruno.
-
Based purely on the fact he's one I had seen in action, supported by his stats, he's one I would have liked us to sign. I fantasised about Rafinha, of course, but Harrison seemed more our level. Was never convinced they would sell, because I thought they'd be crazy to do so.

When Bruno and Almiron linked up, against Forest, Willock seemed to get squeezed out to the right and could only attack the far post. We could do with Bruno and Almiron starting the play from deeper, like we saw last season. Last season we often saw Bruno picking the ball up in his own box, with a full pitch in front of him. Against Forest we dominated, so it wasn't really going to happen, but against Brighton, our defence was mopping up and playing out to him, in a more advanced position, which allowed Brighton's attackers to take him by surprise, from behind, on a couple of occasions. I missed the majority of the second half so not sure how that developed. But we might need Bruno to be a little bit more disciplined, although it's more likely we need Willock to assert himself better, or buy better.

The conversation was over before you said "dude you win".

I'd go for that. We lack presence in the opposition box, way too many times. I thought Willock would be getting in there, but he just isn't. It seems to be dragging Bruno too far up the pitch at times, which wouldn't be an issue if Shelvey was sitting in, of course. This is based off the first two games, in which Wilson was well shepherded but, aside from his goal, I don't think I've seen him attack the near post.
-
No I'm not. The whole point of my interjection was that there is nothing to be won, that people need to understand that. Then you come back with that childish shite, when the conversation was done.
-
I win nothing dude. I was ending a conversation with somebody else.
-
It doesn't. A thought is transient. It is very simple to affect people's thoughts, if that is your aim.
-
He used the word opinion 3 times mind. Safety smiley. But yeah. Complaining, Complaining about complaining, complaining about complaining about complaining...
-
It's an estimate. I should have prefixed it with Approx.

It is the very thing that makes the internet wat it is, a shit-hole. If people were honest enough with themselves they'd acknowledge that there is very little that they know enough about to form an opinion. But everybody can think about anything. 99% of the content online is nothing more than thoughts, it is the viewer who interprets it as opinion.
-
"Both of you" was a reference to the two teams being discussed. It's a good example tbh. You thought I was accusing you.
-
I didn't accuse you. Now who's acting all oppressed.
-
"THEY WALKED AWAY" lol.
-
There is also a self manufactured sense of superiority in those who view every thought as an opinion to be shot down by their own opinion. You're both as bad as each other for over valuing your thoughts.
-
People are being overdramatic, as is the wont this millennium People say their thoughts are "opinions" then somebody who thinks differently attacks that opinion, then people start saying "You're not oppressed". I think You all need to grow the fuck up.
-
Pretty sure he never mentioned oppression.
-
Maybe start thinking about them as thoughts, as opposed to opinions, then people wouldn't cling to them so desperately.

Not a good advert for Madri. -
He'll get more followers on twitter because everybody will be bitter.
-
I think we follow [not rigidly] the Brighton method, but when it comes to selling them for £50million+ to the top teams, we say no because we want to be a top team.
