Brighton & Hove Albion 0-0 Newcastle United (13/08/2022)

Escaped the first half, need more in the second. Suspect the game plan is to let them tire themselves out before applying the pressure. We've been a bit lucky to get away with it. Would gladly take a point riht now. -

Maybe that's why we were after Maddison's. -

Anybody that was born before Burn's transfer knows he played LB for Brighton, I thought. -
It has the same amusing qualities as The Stepford Wives. Strangely comical behaviour until you realise every fucker is part of it. Then it turns sinister.
-
Yeah well we're not looking to replace the wing equivalent of lark so the quality would have to be better than Burn. It's not a question of quality though.

I thought somebody had broke twitter.

Although I like Almiron, and am willing him to shine this season, i think we can compare the attempt to improve upon him to the Burn/Botman transfer. Almiron is probably the weakest link in our team [I'd say Willock or whoever plays that role, but they also have the chance this season], but more importantly, his back up [Murphy] is the weakest link in our reserves. Therefore getting an affordable improvement, like Burn, to take the role for a year before stepping aside isn't so crazy. A loan might be the best option as Almiron would be adequate cover.
-
If they can get themselves in a comfortable position for the second leg, they might do a deal earlier.
-
It's the one position where we now have genuine competition for the place. And Keeper of course. The very fact that we're discussing when our £30 million pound signing will start is testament to this.

Depending upon the circumstances being suitable, he should get 10-15 mins against Brighton and the same against City, before getting his chance to impress against Tranmere. Up to Burn to perform well enough to keep him out, after that. -
Lawro introducing the word 'shagging' into the world of advertising is something I never predicted.

There is life everywhere. Whether it's intelligent is another question, but it's smart enough to not reveal itself to humans.

i heard he was probed with a Mars Bar by people from Sunderland. Don't know what to believe these days.

I know where it comes from.

This cheeseboard story sounds made up. I'm pretty sure Sodexo would have been responsible for such things.

And yet you share it with us.

The fact we all hate Charnley is all the evidence I need that he did a great job for Ashley.

It's not the size of the boat that matters. What matters is not missing the one thing you're there to report on. Could be the next Chris Kamara, mind.

Cross between Schar and Trippier.
