Could be an idea for a weekend away. A cricket match against our friends in Milan.

There are plenty of well established journos that would have lashed out.

Yeah. He needs a thick skin to be a journalist and he's obviously got that.

Lying across their outstretched arms, like Marilyn Monroe.

It's obvious this will be wrapped up by Tuesday at the latest. -

The only thing that is obvious is that those who think anything is obvious haven't got a clue. -
I wouldn't have got it.

He's learning his trade in full public gaze. I don't like him but can admire him. In 5 years he might be fantastic.
-
Nobody said that. Obviously his quality was a consideration.

Oh aye. I think it's more a case of left footers tend t play on the left so it's a slightly different game, for them, when they play on the right. Obviously the better the player the less the impact. Take Burn, he's also played a lot at LB/LWB so his natural game will have a lean towards being more comfortable in that position. Schar, on the other hand, has often played on the left of the CB pairing, due to the apparent lack of left footed CBs, and will have a naturally developed sense of the role.
-
I've heard Howe likes a leftfooter on the left, so I guess he would want a right-footer on the right. I think Schar is a quality footballer who has chosen to be a defender, which is quite unique. I'm sure Botman is to replace Burn who was only bought because we couldn't secure Botman. But the position is Burn's to lose. I'd say.

One of my favourite players being forgotten about. I'd have no issue putting my trust in him going into the next season. He was beginning to find himself [If not Wilson] towards the end of the season and would love to see him silence his critics. I know we've seen him at his worst but you have to consider his situation. He came because Rafa wanted him, but only got 5 months of him. He was aging like a fine wine, taking into account it was his first season in the EPL. Then Rafa left and Bruce made Sangria.

I've got over being underwhelmed by our transfers. If we sign Sarr, i'll be just as keen to see him in action as I will Botman.

I'm beginning to warm to the 5 sub rule, now we look like we'll be in a position to benefit. Just thinking about the options in defence, with regards to game management is encouraging. We're not too bad in midfield, although I still think there is too much counter-attacking ability. And could do with a technically gifted player in the middle. Somebody who would climb a mountain for his best mate. "TUDOR! CANNIBAGA! EVERYONE KNOWS HIS NAME" Up front? Somebody with huge potential, like Ekitike. With a less startled Wood, should be enough cover for Wilson, barring a catastrophe. I'd welcome a new RW, of course. And nobody can ignore the fact that ASM is demanding better players in front of him, not behind.

Soon, that which will start, will start. The man is a modern day Nostredamus. I think it's quite funny tbh

Somebody suggested Botman to Gerrard and Gerrard just giggled childishly. -
Lascelles got relegated once, in a season he played 18 games.
-
It's perfectly reasonable to not pick players you haven't seen play. Otherwise it would be NUFCs statistically speaking best XI
-
I think we'll see a much more relaxed player, in Wood, next season. I think the pressure of expectation got to him, on occasions but he'll be fine by the time he makes his first substitute appearance.

But they'd fleece the players instead of the clubs. -
Any lack of pace is more than compensated for by the time it takes to get around him. He's 6'5" and still looks huge.
-
We've just bought the best sweeper keeper in the PL, I don't think we're intending to sit back.

I'm pretty sure they're no different to our press in relation to the top 6.
