I'd take Lingard, I've always liked him though. Maybe because I am unaware of his online presence, I don't know. He can play anywhere in attacking midfield and would be a great player to have available. Him and a top quality RW would be a good start. Follow that up with a top forward and we're improved no end. I'm petty happy with our defence, if we can be more effective in attack. I'm sure if we'd managed to score against Everton we would have maintained our composure and not conceded late on. We definitely need better cover/competition, all across the back four. But our first team weaknesses are in attack.

Maybe his wife was about to detonate a bomb.

Exactly. Without ASM's little skip, he'd likely be clattering him just below the knee.

VAR didn't overrule, did they? Ref changed his mind after looking again.

Only because NATO has no interest in Yemen.

Mirror.

Been told by Howe that he "doesn't fit", reportedly.

Four points off tenth with a game in hand. If you award Leicester 3 points for their 2 games in hand we're 5 points off tenth with no games in hand. Got to be the target.

There is barely any coverage on Yemen, though, so ignorance is only to be expected. When the media coverage of Yemen matches that of Ukraine, it's fair to point the finger at the uninformed.

Got fuck all to do with understanding, my context is that this is exactly what I want to see more of from him.

His first [I think] contribution was a perfect through-ball for Murphy, who mistimed his run. I took that as a sign that he had come on to play for the team.

Thought the ref was decent for the first hour. Must have been waiting for confirmation that Chelsea could still pay their bribes.

Except for Murphy and Almiron. -
Can we not use words like 'He'? So outdated and offensive, to boot.
-
Can we have a "shite posts" thread so that if anybody has a problem with somebody's choice of words can post in there and leave the threads to the topics they are designed for. Nowt worse than 2 pages of this drivel.

we'll be unlikely to find ourselves in the same situation, in January. We'll do our transfer business in the summer, going forward.
-
I'd definitely be looking to keep him, I just wouldn't hold it against him if he left. To think the likes of Dummett and Ritchie were tied down by Bruce and this guy was overlooked. It's fucking criminal. Not that he would have signed for Bruce, mind.

Is that Seaman coming out at last?

Schar is another who I think would reject the chance to be a squad player. Good enough for 1st team in most European leagues. Needs to play to keep his international place.

Not saying we're not. Nobody is better without their best player. But we've scored 26 goals in 24 matches, an average of, more or less, one per game. And we matched that, away to the 5th place club.
