Could he be flying to Korea from Newcastle? Would seem unnecessary, unless there’s a stuff for him to do up here first?
-
Been a regular in England squads, played every game for a team that finished second in the PL three seasons ago, but he’s “shite”.
-
Surely getting Jackson would be the end of them getting Sesko?
-
Other than Xhaka, Ramsdale has had a career vastly, vastly superior to anyone they’ve signed.

Medicals being done in South Korea

Gambled the house on getting CL again for this season. Lost.

Not sure it’s quite that simple like
-
It’s probably indicative that the “must be better value elsewhere”, isn’t quite as true as it used to be.

“Ramsdale only wanted Newcastle”

Is £4m a “heavy” loan fee these days? Sure Chelsea paid about £10m for Felix when they first got him for half a season.
-
Only if you don’t end up keeping the player. Assuming it gets knocked off whatever the buy price is, it’s kinda just like the first year’s amortisation if you do buy them.

Why would that one be so laughable?
-
Good addition. Miles better than Dubravka.

So those footballers won’t go to the club that pays the most money (i.e Saudi)

Then why’s everyone not in Saudi?

Aren’t TuttoMercato literally the worst source imaginable?

Would never sign for the Mags marra.

RyDog ahead of the rest again.

Of course it’s valid. Like saying Wissa isn’t as good as Isak so we shouldn’t sign him. If we only ever try to sign players that are guaranteed starters, we’ll sign even less players than we are now. You’ve got to improve the floor as well as the ceiling.
-
Don’t think you can really risk any ‘only’ option this season, regardless of who it is.
-
More chance of them getting the American version now Trafford’s fell through.
-
Imagine you’d qualified for CL and we hadn’t though. Do you think the ‘financials’ would be even remotely competitive?
-
Take your point, but tbh, it would be almost impossible to recruit someone of a similar level to Isak. We have to hope that if he does go, we get someone who’s arguably at the level of Isak when he first signed and we develop him further, whilst using the additional funds to improve other positions. I’ve seen nowhere near enough of this lad to form an opinion of whether he’s at that level mind.
