Absolutely no way Man Utd should be thinking of taking Sesko over Watkins. Given their position they need as close to a sure thing up front as they can get. Watkins might only have another couple of seasons left at the top, but that’s exactly what Man Utd need at present.

Three years ago he played every game for Arsenal when they finished second. He’s been in and about the England squad near enough as much as Pope has. He’s definitely better than Dubravka like. I’d say he’s kind of suffered, a bit in the same way David James did, from a combination of some mistakes at a high profile club and being a bit of an oddball.

Not sure about that. I think people hoped we’d upgrade on Pope, but didn’t necessarily think we had to. But then he didn’t have a great game against Celtic and suddenly that meant he was shite again.
