  1. Not sure Trafford would be overly keen on going to Man City if they’re spending that much on Costa as well? Know there’s no guarantees of him immediately being ahead of Pope if he came here, but you could see a clear succession plan. Be a big risk if he just backs himself to get in ahead of Costa.

    Yoane Wissa

Trippier said he would have got more money staying at Atleti.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yeah, they may well be prepared to outbid us and/or Spurs, but if it comes down to player choice, they’re surely a distant third.

You’d think Forest have nee chance unless they outbid everyone.

Worth paying about £5m more than we think he’s worth to shaft Man Utd’s Mbeumo deal and cause an absolute meltdown.

If he wants to play CL, he’s not likely to get that as the main guy.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Exactly if all this was playing out in late August, we’d be in a far worse position.

Tbf to Hope, he did call Wissa last Tuesday
  11. Watkins would actually score a bundle for Liverpool. Albeit, he’s probably only got about 3 peak years left.

Circa 2011/12 RTG had one of it’s famous/numerous ‘Combined XI’ threads, in which they would argue about why it would consist of a 9/2 split in favour of Sunderland players over Newcastle players. When discussing the central midfield, which at the time probably consisted of Cabaye and Tiote for us, a number of posters commented that it was “Catts for me like”, in picking Lee Cattermole over our options.

    Catts for me like.
  16. Would seem like a great candidate to succeed Pogba and Rashford as ‘toxic dressing room’ scapegoat.
