Depends if every club does one on their first home game? Maybe not though. -

Yeah, guess that’s the only way to do it really. Just going to take a a bit of edge off isn’t it? I know he wasn’t our player, but when the minutes silence is for a specific person that we all know, especially one who’s died in such terrible circumstances, it feels a bit more profound. Even the silences for Remembrance Day, whilst always well observed, feel a tad more removed from you personally. -

Feel like they’re in a bit of a difficult situation with regards to the Liverpool match now. Under normal circumstances, first home game of the season, likely to be 4:30 on a bank holiday Sunday, you’d expect a big display and getting everyone whipped up. But there’s still going to be a lot of emotion relating to the Jota tragedy, so trying to stay respectful of that whilst also committing to the above, I don’t envy them. Sure they’ll get it right as always though. -
That does sound realistic given what’s already been reported tbf. Although clowns like him do usually just take educated guesses, so might be no substance behind it, even if it does turn out to be right.

Nah mate, someone posted the interview with Jacobs a few pages back. Doesn’t mention 60+, unless he’s said something else since then?
-
Don’t think either of them have mentioned them wanting 60+ have they?
-
Can’t see anything new this morning?
-
Large parts of our offer acceptable. We’re pushing very hard to get it completed quickly. Talks continuing. And he (Jacobs) is in America.
-
Hope you’re not assuming his gender???
-
He seemed to recover from his acl surprisingly quickly?
-
If we get an Atalantaista poster who creates as iconic a post as @Milanista, we’ll have done well.
-
Did his ACL then dislocated his shoulder, so a bit of random way to miss virtually the whole season. Probably less #worrying than recurring muscles injuries though.
-
Given he started about two games last season, probably not a lot. But making your debut for Italy at 18 as a central defender is very impressive.
-
If we’re entering talks with Atalanta I’d say that’s thread-worthy…
-
Hardy says our bid has been accepted, but given the positive noises that came out last night, it might of been the case anyway.
-
Guaranteed they’ll just hide behind ‘can’t comment whilst the matter is ongoing’.
-
Start of some kind of membership hierarchy based on number of ballot entries? Probably not.
-
Nice to hear, but does seem a bit RTG-esque, ‘everywhere I go people want to talk about Elanga’. Really?
-
I’ve no doubt Arsenal will get this sorted, but if they didn’t, oooft, Eddie would love a bit Nwaneri to mould.
-
By one place. I am not disputing they had greater squad depth than we did. I am not disputing we need to improve our own squad depth for this forthcoming season. I am disputing that, even with the squad they had, they would have progressed any further in the CL than we did, given the same format and group. Do we really need to keep going round in these circles?
-
And my point is they did better because the format was easier. And I think that was the bigger factor. But we’re going round in circles here.
-
Villa had a much deeper squad than we did for their CL season - fact Villa benefited from the new format of the CL which made it much easier for them to go further - fact We can both be happy with our facts and get back to our new signing that Eddie will turn into a superstar.
