I think you misinterpret what the majority of the fanbase actually want from mainstream journalists i.e what their job is Doing as you describe would probably be reasonably interesting for a minority of fans (I’d read it), but it would also be pretty niche. I can guarantee after a while most fans would be complaining about them writing articles about ‘players we aren’t even interested in’. Being a mainstream journalist is about servicing the many, not the few. Despite what we (the few) might think of that.

Tbf, looking back at when Minteh signed, he got nowhere near the level of coverage this lad has got. Now, that might be because the club’s social media has evolved quite a bit in the last couple of years, but he’s definitely getting a lot more press, and he didn’t even cost a fee. Anyway, let’s home it’s because he’s even more minter…

And whilst on massive wages.

Tbf, they seem to have worded it a way that isn’t quite as straightforward as that: “Callum Wilson and John Ruddy are set to be out of contract at the end of June, however the club has opened discussions with both players about their futures and new contracts could still be agreed.”

I’d actually say that once Villa sold Duran, and excluding dual-role players, Muniz was probably the best back-up striker in the league last season. edit - suppose you could say Nunez like

Imagine her in another 10 years. That’s Krul now.

Murphy would have been justified if he’d said ‘dynamic’ rather than ‘athletic’.

As long as they aren’t ’that favourite in the 3:30 at Kempton looks absolutely nailed on’

Got the same English tutor as Miggy

Maybe, but there’s sometimes quite a bit of substance behind that.

One season. Even by Howe’s own admission he played far too much in 23/24 (through necessity).

People just need to be patient with Miley. We’ve got arguably the best manager going for developing elite young talent. He knows what he’s doing.

We should never loan anyone to Boro, especially young players. Not worth the abuse they would get off the local mutants as soon as they had a couple of indifferent games.

Think I believed the Hernandez one more 🙄

Oblak’s on over £300k a week.

Hardy’s latest article on Trafford. Says nothing of note other than we hope £25-30m will be enough and we want to keep Pope regardless: https://x.com/timessport/status/1930308569221505313?s=46&t=OQLMckSuatbpqWF13Al4mQ

Yeah, it’s anyone that’s on your Friends and Family list, so whoever is going to transfer you the ticket will need to add you onto theirs at some point. https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/newcastle-united-to-introduce-away-ticket-transfer

You don’t have to sign players that you’re going to be able to resell, but if you’re buying players with little potential resale value, you probably best hope they perform well enough to get you to where you want to be so you can make the required income from other areas (CL being the obvious one). There hasn’t been much evidence of it yet, but you’d maybe hope that it eventually drives down the wages of older players a bit, so clubs don’t get stuck with players in their 30’s, on ridiculous money, that they can’t shift.

This should explain, but shout up if you don’t get anywhere: https://support.newcastleunited.com/hc/en-gb/articles/14301249396508-How-do-I-create-a-ticketing-account
