I’ve often wondered about this. I’ve heard people say it, but never actually tried it. My ticket says 17-18 and 31-32, which I’ve always found a bit random. Nearly always use 17-18 but used 31-32 yesterday and there was zero queue at about 2:20pm.

Good to hear. What part of the ground?

To not have to stand in a massive queue to get in?

Part (not all obviously) of the problem is most people still turn up in last half hour before ko. I totally get that people might not want to be in the ground prior to that. The concourses aren’t particularly welcoming, the beer’s a bit shit, and a whole other load of perfectly acceptable reasons. But the fact is if you look at the PSG, where everybody made sure they turned up early, there seemed to be far, far less issues with queuing. We can moan on and say, they shouldn’t have changed what worked previously or whatever, but they have, and they won’t be going back, so we’ve just got to get on with it. PSG showed if everybody (where possible) gets there a bit early, it becomes much less of an issue.
  5. You’d hope. Although whether they can get access to that data I’m not sure?
  6. It’s basically where people have been (deliberately) given a duff away ticket by the club and then they haven’t attended the away box office to collect a replacement on the day of the game. Whilst this obviously does flag up people who were selling tickets on, it could also potentially hit someone who legitimately didn’t attend a game for whatever reason.
  7. Am I being thick, but what has happened for the mask to slip?

    Big Jam got it covered
  9. Tsimikas is decent enough, but it’s a fair old drop off from Robertson.
  10. Robertson knackered for a while for Liverpool
  11. I mean, aye, it should be. And hopefully the players approach it like that, but as a fan, it just isn’t. Be more than happy with something utterly routine like Burnley.
  12. Aye, it’s basically why Rangers would have been in Pot 3 had they got through the CL qualifiers this season. Off the back of reaching the Europa final a couple of years ago.

  14. Of course, I’m not saying it should be allowed, far from it. To allow it would be asking for trouble, exactly like you describe. But, if we’re ranking degrees of offence, clearly betting on your own team to win, would appear to be a lesser offence than on them to lose, which there would probably be no coming back from at any club.
  15. He was betting on them to win I believe
  16. Yes, although (like what appears to have been alleged about Tonali) he wasn’t playing in any of the games he did so.
  17. Do you think Brentford should have sacked Toney?
  18. If he’s betting on them to win it’s not really match-fixing is it?
  19. This does not bode well for when she reaches 16…
