With Brighton you get told in advance that you’ll have to pick your ticket up from the away box office (ID required). Not sure how far in advance you get told, maybe a week? If no-one turns up to collect it, that goes down as a black mark, and any sanctions can be based off that.

So it seems that for cup games the family section is being classed as Cat 2, so if I were applying and my only/main concern was securing a ticket anywhere in the ground, I’d definitely be going Cat 2.

It shouldn’t be underestimated how rare away wins in the CL are. Only two last night, one that doesn’t really count (Porto at Shakhtar), and Leipzig at Young Boys, who might be the weakest team in the tournament. Man City won one away game in last season’s CL.

I think you can get a day pass through Now TV, but for the cost you may as well sign up for a month and get the PSG game as well
