  1. Lumo should be reliable enough. Trains in this country have been absolutely shocking for the last 18 months but afaik there’s nothing in the way of strikes or major works planned, so hopefully be fine. Do you know which part of hospitality you’re in? You should get a specific seat I would have thought, but can’t say I’ve frequented any of these new corporate areas, so could be slightly different? Tell your mate to be very, very wary. Plenty of people have used Stubhub in the past, and it’s been ok, but I’d still be wary, especially after what the club said about third party reselling this week. Realise that’s not particularly helpful, but just makes sure your mate is aware of the potential risks before he commits.
  2. Nah, where you’ve got a large ‘official’ gathering, there’ll be plenty of police about so they’ll not target it. You’re probably more at risk in smaller groups where they can ambush you and be gone before there’s any police on the scene.
  3. Spending your whole time dealing with aggrieved/angry/pissed off/pissed up fans doesn’t sound like a nice little job to me! ?
  4. There’s no ballot at the moment. Just going through the normal points dropping process. They’ve said there will be a ballot (probably only 200/300 tickets). However, if it reaches zero points anyway, and doesn’t sell out, it would seem pointless. Unless they ballot to Members? But no, you can’t transfer. Legally anyway.
  5. Outside of this country. Ajax Hertha Berlin Wisla Krakow
  6. In person or over the phone?
  7. If it’s feasible you’re best off calling into the box office. Trying to get through on the phone seems a thankless task.
  8. Given I’m debating whether I can be arsed to drive to Sheffield in a couple of weeks, I respect this. *also big up the designated driver when everyone else on that ferry is absolutely steaming ?
  9. Good for you, and I hope everything comes through alright with it. But if the boot was on the other foot and we found out that some foreign agency were selling our home tickets to away fans, there’d be absolute hell on! ?
  10. A few people have mentioned different things in the ‘Champions League Travel’ thread in the Tickets forum, if you haven’t already read that?
  11. [email protected] is the head of Supporter Services. Although I’m not sure contacting individual people is the way to go unless you have a particularly specific query/complaint.
  12. So what category is ‘Family Area’?
  13. People just whack them up in the hope they’ll be able to get one to sell on when they do go on sale.
  14. The argument is that the ‘type’ of people who are ending up with the tickets has changed. It’s an emotive argument because you start getting into the territory of who’s the ‘better’ supporter etc. and who ‘deserves’ a ticket more blah blah And, I’m not stating any of this as fact because I/we don’t really know exactly what caused the empty seats / different type of supporters at Brighton.
  15. The ballot option wasn’t available. The argument would probably be that people with higher points are now reluctant to pass them on to anyone, so the ‘networks’ that people have built up, and allowed them to become regular away followers have been taken away. The theory being that people with lower points, will buy tickets and just sell them on to anyone, as they are desperate to build points. All just supposition like, and the people in the pic might have got tickets perfectly legitimately.
  16. There’s no international ballot for away matches as far as I’m aware? Tbh it’s fairly unclear if there’s one for home matches (although there presumably is).
  17. Could have been ST holders that got them in a ballot. Could have get them via corporate. Could have bought them off someone. Could have bought them off a resale site. Could be ST holders with points.
  18. Hard to say. Numbers probably lower than might be expected in Milan, given the very short time to organise. Feel like there’s gonna be 10k minimum in Dortmund like. 90% of the people I’ve spoken to who are only doing one, are doing that one.
  19. You can sell your ST seat back to the club for any game for 1/19th of your ST cost. (and they then put back on sale at over double that, but anyway…).
  20. I know that doesn’t sound like much, but I’d be very wary of buying off those resale sites going forward. Sounds to me like there going to be making an effort to get some of them tickets cancelled.
  21. Each link is individual between those two members
  22. You’re right of course, but it just doesn’t help the general perception of things when there’s so much noise around ticketing at the minute.
