Don’t really see how this relates to ID tho? If you’ve got the original digital ticket, it’ll work and you’ll get in. If you have some kind of copy/screenshot, it won’t and you won’t have the relevant ID because it wasn’t your ticket in the first place?

Does the obligation thing actually help with FFP? Someone in the replies to Edwards is saying it doesn’t, and it would get counted in this year’s spending? Which would mean the only benefit of doing a deal like that is related to cash flow, which surely isn’t an issue to us?

Easy for me to say as someone not in the ballot, but if last week is anything to go by, constantly checking from 10am onwards to see if you’ve got anything is a sure fire way to wind yourself right up. Do you best to try and block it out til 4/5pm ?

Probably. And that was for buying memberships when it didn’t actually matter anyway (although I understand why people were a bit reticent to take that risk).

There’s was someone on here saying 5 of his mates had 100 places each in the queue. Then queue numbers are so inflated that trying to equate them to actual real numbers of people has become a pointless exercise IMO.

The queue numbers kind of mean nothing though with all the multiple devices and people dropping off and rejoining. If we guess there’s roughly 10-12k tickets available for ballot every game, with 150k members, and even factoring not all of them enter every ballot, you’d be incredibly lucky to be successful more than 2 or 3 times a season if entering 19 times. I think we’ll find people have much better hit rates than that.

Suppose it depends on the conditions of any deal. If there’s an (optional) pre-set purchase price agreed for us, then all good. You’d think they’d have to be pretty desperate to get him off the books for that though.
