Not that I’m advocating this in any way, but…. I think we might find that people start keeping their digital ticket on a old(er) phone, that could easily be passed to someone in the same way a card would have been.

I would imagine it’s to try and prevent anyone who has (somehow) got hold of a ST and is just selling it on for profit every game. Admittedly won’t be many of them. Although tbh, if you’re able to download a ST to more than one device, it seems an obvious way around it.

Yes, won’t be many of them you wouldn’t have thought, but combined with any unsold from ballot, might be a reasonable second chance opportunity if you miss out originally.

Yeah, but if you can download ST to multiple wallets, surely you can do it with single tickets? In fact you would only have to download it to your wallet.

Can you not use her membership to go with bairn, they transfer your ST seat to someone else (or use whatever this apparent club reselling business is?). All a bit messy admittedly, but should work to get you what you want?

Well yeah, but in a way it’s always been like that. The more you can afford to pay the more option you have to get a ticket. Not massively fair, but that’s life really isn’t it?

If selecting a price point puts you in all the price points below, fair enough, but if someone goes for £74, and that precludes them from anything below, that wouldn’t seem right?

Yeah, tbf we (and the club) all know the matches where it has the potential to be a real problem, so fairly easy to put that rule in place for those games.

Yeah, if we’re assuming the £74 is Platinum Club and the like, how many are actually available each match? 300 at most? So out of somewhere in the region of ~10k being available, you haven’t really got much chance of getting one. And you’re certainly not going to get one consistently.

Yeah, even if what they say isn’t what we want to hear, going back to the Ashley/Charnley days of ‘say nothing and hope it eventually goes away’, is not a place we want to be.
