First game back was November
-
He’s only started 9 games since being out for 10 months (and a couple of those at wing back) so in a way it’s probably not a question that would result in an answer that gives much clarity either way.
-
Tbf he’s only started a handful of games since he came back in November, albeit a lot of sub appearances. So perhaps difficult to judge whether he’s struggled for form. Did score and was MotM in the last game of the season though.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

Still seems very odd that we wouldn’t have any kind of game that weekend -
Merino’s never leaving the basque region again. He’ll be in and around that area for the rest of his career.
-
If (obviously it’s a fairly big if) we’re his preferred choice, it would probably go some way to explaining why we would be persisting despite the alleged disparity in valuations that’s been reported.
-
No. There’s almost two months left.

Scapegoat sorted for the next transfer that doesn’t work out.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Indeed. Given you rarely see away allocations larger than the minimum these days, it wouldn’t make a great deal of financial difference to the home team. -

There were Twitter rumours last week of a SELA Cup with Nice, Villareal and Fiorentina. Matches being on the Saturday and Sunday. Nothing anywhere to verify that as yet like.

Was he awful defensively at Brighton? Everyone knew Chelsea had ridiculously overpaid for him, but I think if they’d paid around the £30m mark, most would have thought it a good signing.
-
If that were to go through, how would you class his time with Liverpool? Shown undoubted class at times but on the whole seems to have been underwhelming, perhaps mainly because of injury, and the fact that there was real high expectations when he signed and what he showed initially.
-
He’d only have to get himself ahead of Gusto, Azpilicueta and Chalobah then.

Signed for Plymouth: https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/gibson-becomes-third-summer-signing Amazing how almost every Everton transfer turns to shit somehow

Don’t think there’s a spectrum in the world for that

Someone actually acknowledging Man Utd’s spending. Wonders will never cease.

Just been clearing out some draws and came across my home top from 99-00. Probably hasn’t seen the light of day for 15 years+, but I have to say the quality is exceptional. Even more remarkably, it still fits great (must have been baggy af back in the day).

Perch getting booked in his first 5 games for us is an achievement never to be matched.
-
Wonder if there’s more to the En-Nesyri link?
-
It isn’t anything new though. We can complain all we like, but in 5 seasons time we’ll be up there too, and someone else will be complaining about us.
