Yeah, tbf we already have a superb set piece taker in Trippier. Alright he might have tailed off in that regard at certain points, but the major issue was definitely those on the end rather than those taking. That much was evident the few times Lascelles played, and we suddenly looked much more potent. That said, it never hurts to have multiple players who can deliver with quality.

The only concern would be if he’s sufficiently recovered from that ACL, not just in simple fitness, but has it diminished any of his attributes? All the other ‘injuries’ listed are nothing to worry about IMO. The gamble comes with answering that first question.
