  1. That’s the best piece of shithousery I’ve ever seen. Absolutely elite.

Everyone counts ST holders that don’t go mind. Not that there’s any sensible reason for Sunderland to have substantially more ‘non-local’ ST holders that anyone else like.
  3. They volunteered in the knowledge that they would be forced if they didn’t
  4. I’m not sure everyone telling me I’m some kind of c*nt is ever the attention I’d like.
  5. You have to wonder why anyone puts themselves through the hassle of being on any form of fans group (and I’m not saying this as a criticism or defence of anyone). Inevitably seems like you get endless amounts of stick (whether deserved or not). Personally you couldn’t pay me to get involved.
  6. Giving this a bump to try and save some unnecessary waffle in the transfer rumours thread. Anyway, Declan Rice…
  7. He really was incredibly bad, albeit against tough opposition.
  8. It’s a valid point. And probably one that is/was relevant to Howe. But, in short, impossible to answer until said manager gets a gig with one of the big(ger) lads.
  9. For all Palace have been absolutely woeful in an attacking sense, they very rarely lose ‘easily’. Last 10 games have been 5 draws and 5 one goal defeats.
  10. First set of questions sorted for Howe’s next press conference then…
  11. Fair enough. Do you think the non-member survey’s subsequently had any material impact on increasing member numbers?
  12. You have a more optimistic opinion than me of the outcome of the Trust taking a ‘holistic’ approach to things then ?
  13. Any fan-based ‘trust’ or whatever you want to call it, is only as powerful as its members. If it’s not got the numbers in that regard, then no club will bother engaging on any kind or meaningful scale. Why would they? The trust has to do everything it can to push for people to join. So if someone wants to have their say on ticketing via this survey, they’re obviously going to ask them to join up first.
  14. Via the trust. I know people have issues with certain members of the trust being all about self-interest, but you can hardly expect them to not take a position where they’re saying ‘if you want a voice, join the trust’. It’s like expecting a Union to ballot an entire workforce about strike action, rather than just their members.
  15. Not wanting to speak for @Greg but if someone doesn’t think the trust is worth joining, not sure why they would want to take part in a trust survey?
  16. Aye, .com probably have the best summary:
  17. The closing paragraph in Swiss Ramble’s latest blog, on Leicester’s finances:
  18. Who is Wolves ‘actual derby’? West Brom?
  19. Might be injured anyway given he had to come off on Saturday
  20. Short questionnaire/survey on ticketing been emailed out to members
  21. Would have been four if Spurs had made it to the FA Cup semis
  22. What does ‘better crowd management’ consist of? At the minute it appears to be ‘let less people in’.
  23. Alas… edit - I should add that from personal experience I wouldn’t say that Hillsborough is really any worse than Elland Rd or Turf Moor (maybe throw Selhurst Park in there). Honestly the concourses simply aren’t fit to hold as big as allocations that get given to away clubs. It’s sad really because we all want as big as allocations as possible.
  24. Was reported to be quite high up on Howe’s list when he was at Leeds, but obviously didn’t have much hope with Barca interested. Could definitely see us being interested again if there was any kind of deal to be had.
  25. Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham/Palace going down with Burnley, Sheff Utd and Boro coming would be a bit of dream in terms of reducing the away miles travelled.
