Any fan-based ‘trust’ or whatever you want to call it, is only as powerful as its members. If it’s not got the numbers in that regard, then no club will bother engaging on any kind or meaningful scale. Why would they? The trust has to do everything it can to push for people to join. So if someone wants to have their say on ticketing via this survey, they’re obviously going to ask them to join up first.

Via the trust. I know people have issues with certain members of the trust being all about self-interest, but you can hardly expect them to not take a position where they’re saying ‘if you want a voice, join the trust’. It’s like expecting a Union to ballot an entire workforce about strike action, rather than just their members.

Not wanting to speak for @Greg but if someone doesn’t think the trust is worth joining, not sure why they would want to take part in a trust survey?

Alas… edit - I should add that from personal experience I wouldn’t say that Hillsborough is really any worse than Elland Rd or Turf Moor (maybe throw Selhurst Park in there).
